***Official AP US Government & Politics 13-14 Thread***

@capitalamerica yeah but it doesnt hurt to put stuff down. I put even more stuff down for that section.

What did yall put for the effect of the media ownership question?

@Kpopzz Something about less diversity or something of political opinion (something like that). I believe that was a question on one of the earlier released exams as well.

On the two frq questions with enumerated and reserved powers I completely blanked for 20 minutes and I wrote “I’m have a what I learned in boating school is moment I have no idea srry” (spongebob reference) I was really really confident on every other thing besides those two but now I’m afraid the scorer will just dislike me and give me less points than I deserve sigh

Several people at my school mentioned that it was difficult so I’m hoping for a decent curve. Especially for those of us who feel borderline 5

@capitalamerica Yay I put that down last minute! Also what about the one with liberals supporting? I think the choices were like military, funding for health care programs, etc.

Will college board release frq answers On Thursday?

@reb1rr Oh god, for that one I totally forgot everything and had to just sit there for like 20 minutes until I could think of SOMETHING related to the president. I said that he could deploy troops and recognize countries; for Congress, I said that it could ratify treaties and formally declare war. I noticed the questions said “describe”, but I didn’t really know how I should have gone further. In the last 10 minutes of the test, I just wrote down a paragraph for each power just in case they seriously wanted me to “describe” the powers. >.>

@kpopzz there was a question about liberals supporting something!??! i dont remember answering that.

@Kpoppz I wasn’t 100% sure for that one but I put whatever funding one it was, since I think I remember seeing that in my Crash Course (how they tend to want to support certain programs like welfare and health programs while conservatives… don’t).

@kpopzz ohh MC i thought you were talking about FRQ i almost died. lol its the funding health care

@6alibah Yes! And a lot of people in my testing room were just sleeping throughout the exam so hopefully the curve won’t be too harsh and will be in our favor.

@capitalamerica‌ I finished the essays in about 20 minutes (write and think rlly fast) so I had that 1 hour and 20 minutes to come up with SOMETHING for that last one like it’s the most basic thing even my 6th grade brother in elementary us gov would know the powers of the president so I’m upset I couldn’t think of anything ugh

@reb1rr Well did you at least try the scattershot approach? Just keep writing down slightly relevant stuff in hopes of getting some points somehow. :stuck_out_tongue: (That’s what I did for Human Geo anyway…)

I’m always amazed at how some people are able to breeze through the frqs. So many people were done within like the first half hour.

Found out yesterday that I only need a 3 to get college credit. So, would 40/60 and 18/25 get me that?

@mufc123 Yup. Might even get a 4.

@mufc123 it is a 4 but boarderline

Awesome, thanks guys.

@reb1rr‌ agree. I used until the last moment on the FRQs. Maybe because I wasn’t trained on writing in a concise manner. but I hope it will worth it :slight_smile:

People who took the exam in the states! Do you guys also got form O?
