for the 2nd FRQ (#4), i defined the term they gave us incorrectly. i defined it as the exact OPPOSITE as the true definition, so my thesis is wrong basically. however, i used correct historical data to back up my opinion...

how much do you think will they take off for that? is it considered a maj. error?

if you don't answer the question.. or your thesis is entirely antithetical of the questions being asked, the best score you can receive is a 4 or a 5

or at least, thats for a paper with no thesis.
But in your case it could be different, but the AP readers are looking for content based on the question so it may be considered irrelavent and lessen your score.

I used all the documents on my DBQ...I was so relieved that it was fairly simple! If it had been like the DBQ last year, I would have been really screwed.

My lengths were 4 for DBQ, and 2.5 for the other ones. It seems about average.

I felt better about AP Lit, though...we'll see.

Also, Narcissa: You never get your specific section score. It only says the test date, the test name, and one number, from 1-5. That's what my Calculus score report got.

What's cool is that the score report is cumulative, so it will say my Calculus, USH, and Lit scores this year, even though I took Calc last year.

i definitely guessed on quite a few of MC, but most of them have turned out to be all right. two wrong and counting?

and i am so thankful for the DBQ, although my paragraphs were not evenly proportioned. i had like five documents for one, two for another, and three on the last one. needless to say, the first was a monster paragraph.

and the FRQs were choosing between a bad topic and a really bad one. i was very very vague here because i couldn't remember specific names of a lot of stuff. for number four i didn't even know the main term and i just wrote about the time period and what happened during then. thankfully i got the gist of it :)

for the 2nd FRQ (#4), i defined the term they gave us incorrectly. i defined it as the exact OPPOSITE as the true definition, so my thesis is wrong basically. however, i used correct historical data to back up my opinion...

how much do you think will they take off for that? is it considered a maj. error?

i dont think that was a problem....you could have taken BOTH sides to qualify...that was what i did

multiple choice kind of surprised me since they had a bunch of stupid authors and miniscule little things that no one really pays attention to when they learn about history... skipped 3 got probably ... 10-15 of them wrong? my middle row was marked with a bunch of dots that stood for questions i had to go back and double check on... retarded.. grrrrrr

dbq- loved it. but then again i might be overconfident and whatever..

frqs.. i chose #3 and #4 because i forgot about years.. my fault i guess.

i guess i'm just hoping that my essays will make up for any stupid things that i did in my multiple choice.. i'm kind of on the border :[

haha. apush this year was pretty easy
MC: Pretty easy except for a couple of obscure ones that I left blank. I probably got 74/80 or so.
DBQ: Really easy. I wrote 5 pages
FRQ #1: Yeah, this was bad. I only wrote 3 pages and I kept repeating myself.
FRQ #2: Really easy. 4 pages. =)

I thought the MC was relatively easier compared to the past tests and other practices that we did in our class.

FR was okay. I did 2 and 4. I read a section on AMSCO about 2 so I was pretty confident on that one. #4 wasn't bad as I thought it would be at the instance I saw the question. I started remembering things and just kept adding up.

But for DBQ, I expect a lower score since I made one significant error of name calling. Other than that, I wrote 3 entire pages on it.

Do they count off a lot if you make a huge mistake on a name (person, place, event, etc.)

ughhh, seeing so many confident people makes me so nervous. :/

i thought the MC was pretty easy, maybe -10 or so.
when i saw the DBQ i was like, YES I KNOW THIS, but i don't think my essay was as good as it could've been. i really don't know. 6/7?
FRQs were killer. ): I wrote some bs and am hoping for a 4/5.

my essays were so short compared to everyone else's.

hey dont worry about....the guys here are like the TOP of the class....with raws scores like 179/180....so...yeah....you probably did fine compared to "normal people"....

I thought the MC was super easy. Like i seriously thought that the SAT subject test was harder.
I think I got four wrong. But i answered all of them.
The DBQ was awesome....super easy...we just did that in class. I wrote 5 pages!
the second essay was okay....i definitely passed but I probably got like a 6
the third essay wasn't too bad either. I think I might have gotten a 7.
