***Official AP World History Thread 2014-2015***

@kinz7865 ikr, I thought the prompts were easy but I don’t think I wrote enough detail and I was really general, so I probably didn’t get a 5 :frowning:

It would be nice if along with our scores, we were also shown what we got on the MC section and what we got on the essay portion.

I really hope the curve is generous. The wait is antagonizing.

@athenanv13 I know right? I’m nervous that I won’t get a 5 because of the multiple choice. Even if I get a 4, I can’t lie about it to my classmates since my school displays students’ AP scores on a wall of game if they get above a 3. :(( It’s weird because I felt like the practice tests were harder but I couldn’t seem to focus during the actual exam, I analyzed the questions too much. On the essays, I think I did okay, I think I got a 6 on the DBQ, a 5 on the CCOT, and a 9 on the Comp.

I’m nervous for the results on this exam because people are doing so well! I feel that I did decent on the multiple choice, but I was always left with two answers if I used elimination… I’m a little nervous because my friend said that the majority of the answers were c and d. Also the essays were easy, but I feel like I might have made careless errors. I think I may have gotten a around 50-55 out of 70 on the multiple choice and 6s or higher on all my essays. Overall, I feel like I at least passed with a 3… I don’t want to make any assumptions that I got a 4 or higher…

i had 5 B’s in a row, 3 C’s in a row, and 3 D’s in a row. I was freaking out but none of them were random guesses so I didn’t change anything. My first twenty or so bubble answers formed a zig-zaggy line. It was so weird lol

anyone remember the time period for the comparisons frq? the very last one?

I think it was 500-1450

600-1450

Why still talking about the exam??? Just wait til July

I have a question. What would possibly be some good ap courses to take after world history? Such as Human Geography or US history?

Also, is anyone planning to take the sat subject test for world history next year? Do i need to study all over again with much more details?..

Anybody has any experience?

Thanks

mine made a zig zag at well, perhaps thats a good sign!

@jackwang0703 Never took Human Geo before but took APUSH this year with World History. Lots of memorization with the date of events and the details. DBQ you actually have to know some outside information compared to WH where you dont necessarily need to know the background lol. The new multiple choice section was really easy to answer because a majority of the answers are mentioned in the passage/picture itself. The short answer questions were interpreting the exerpts and recalling outside information to back up your claim.

@Ngzk07 Thank you! So do you think US is a little harder than World? Do you know the revised US is easier or harder than the ones in the past? Thank you!

I’m freaking out on the last column I didn’t get any b’s!!!

Forget that

@jackwang0703 Yeah I think US is harder than World because in World we really just need to see the big picture and recognize patterns. My teacher gave us practice MCs from the old tests and they were harder lol. It was either you know it or you don’t. Questions with text exerpts were rare too.

I might be one of the luckiest ap testers this year. my ap world history teacher gave us a complete practice test the day before and the ccot he gave us was the exact one on the test. he even went over it with us so the day of i literally rewrote my essay from before

also the MC was super easy for me, i ended up with 15 minutes left and was able to go over every answer which as of now im pretty sure i might have 69/70. hated how easy it was since i had crammed literally anything that came up to the point of me getting 60/70 on the barrons practice test which were hell. always remember italy was the last European country to give women the right to vote. so thats great and the essays were a breeze as well, i wrote 8 povs for the 9 documents and wrote 4 pages for the dbg, 4 for the ccot and 3 for the compare and contrast

dbg… so obviously you have no choice but to get a ridiculously high 5 hah
