The housing dude I spoke with told me that differing factors determine who gets housing each year, but it’s usually a matter of location. Like barnardbarnard said, I don’t think location makes much of a difference beyond the tri-state area. If it counts for anything, I live in Atlanta.

Has anyone received their transfer credit evaluation yet? I’ve been checking the mail everyday- nothing :(

Nevermind, I got mine in my email today. Seems like they were waiting for all the enrollment confirmations before they started working on evaluations.

I am wait listed and Barnard just called me…slightly freaking out

WOW…just got offered a position in the Class of 2015! I am so honored

Congratulations

Thank you :)!!

Congratulations! Btw, do you apply for financial aid? I’m also waitlisted :(

Congrats, Lili! I’m very much hoping for acceptance, too, but 'tis looking ever more unlikely. Good on you for sticking it out!

my best advice is to email jessica lee and just reiterate how much you want to go to barnard ( and if you don’t require aid, tell them, that helps a lot) Good luck ladies!! Just make sure you stay on their radar!!

I received an email from admissions about what next to do as a transfer student. Thing is, I try to set up my eBear account and Columbia UNI and it keeps saying that my information is incorrect. Maybe they haven’t updated the system yet? Do any of you guys have this problem as well?

anyone else have problems with credits transferring???

I got my credit evaluation a few days ago. I haven’t sent in my IB scores yet, so I’m lacking a bit of credit on that front. For some reason they weren’t able to discern the number of lab hours my biology courses included through my transcript, so I have to get that sorted out as well…

does anyone know how to send an AP score report?! so confused o.O

Yeah i also have a biology lab course they have trouble evaluating- i have to send them more info on the course. Other than that, they capped me at 60.5 units.

@13hasshopeful are you a junior?!

anyone know when or where these non mandatory advising workshops will be?

Late July/early August for transfers. I don’t know if you’ve visited this page but the information you need is all here: [Enrolling Students for Fall | Barnard College](http://barnard.edu/admissions/enrolling-students-fall)

no i saw that, was just wondering if there was an exact date yet…

I think that’s just a timeframe during which you can set up an appointment. I doubt they expect every transfer student to go to their (optional) advising session on one specific date.
