congrats @ktmalt95!

Do you all think we will hear back in about two weeks?

^^ probably.

Last year (2013) they sent out transfer decisions May 15th.

it ranged last year though. my friend did not hear until mid june

Hi guys! I had to call the admissions office this morning to ask about sending certain transcripts, and they said it still wasn’t too late to send the new grades because decisions hadn’t been made yet. So I’m thinking it will be a while before we hear anything.

I do not know what BC plans to do… honestly!

@xxgoop but what date were they told decisions would be sent by? As in, were they told they’d be sent by May 15th, May 31st, June 15th,…?

I called them today and they said that decisions would come out by the end of next week.

Oh gosh, that’s scary. What major did everyone apply as?

elementary education

secondary education

Very cool! Do you think applying as a major that is more popular affects your chances of getting in?

@fncrane Not sure, but I think so. I think transfers fill up the spaces of people who transferred out. So if one biology major leaves BC, one can transfer in. More popular majors would have more competition. That’s my guess anyway, I don’t know for sure if that’s how it works.

@Celtic02 so basically Econ in CAS would be impossible… haha

@fncrane haha well there is also the possibility that anyone who transfers out of the school, not just the major, opens up a spot…which would make CAS chances higher than, say, CSOM…but again, I don’t really know haha. Good luck!! I’m so nervous I can’t wait for decisions lol

@Celtic02 I already know I won’t get in haha. I’m sure you’ll be fine :)

@Celtic02 they were told June 15th like we were.

wait so by the end of this week or by June 15th? very big spread…

when you login to your bcportal it says decisions will be sent by may 31st
