Congrats, Paula. (If you can make a deposit, it’s usually a good sign.)

But I gotta ask, how does BC “fit” in with all the others schools to which you applied? (Barnard, Smith & Mount Holyoke…and BC???)

I got it too!

^^Congrats. You gonna attend, Eryi?

congrats! Which school did you guys apply for?

Didn’t get in. Wish BC had a more streamlined way of releasing decisions, it’s as if every year they “leak”.

I’m definitely going. It was the only school I applied to anyways! Way too excited!

congrats PaulaDanielle, congrats everyone :)

Sorry meppie, I think I might be in your company soon :(

should we assume the worst if we haven’t gotten the financial aid/tuition deposit tabs yet?

Based on previous threads I’ve read about it, yes. There’s a chance it could mean waitlisted, however I kind of equate that with a rejection. Maybe I’m too pessimistic.

Although, there were people on these threads that didn’t get the tabs until later and were admitted, or didn’t get them until after they received their letter. I’m just kind of assuming I’m not that rare person. This is why I’m upset BC releases their decision in such an unorganized way…it creates a lot more stress than a flat out date and answer.

did you find out by mail, meppie?

Nope, not that I know of. No call from Mom. Heh.

I’m in too!! Yay so excited…can’t wait to meet all of you other new Eagles!

I applied for CAS. Planning to major in Polisci and minor in physics. Wheeeee!

@bluebayou, I take it you are a BC student/were accepted…did you get tabs with everyone else…know much about the tabs business?

meppie, I am as nervous as you are lol. Hopefully they’re just doing them in waves and we haven’t been rejected just yet. I’m trying to stay positive and tell myself that they’re releasing the rising Sophomore decisions first, because it seems a lot of the people accepted so far are rising Sophomores

I am a rising Sophomore Haha. Are you gonna be a Junior?

So much speculation!! The suspense is killin’ me. (Prepared myself for this and BC was a reach, so not the end of the world.)

yeah, I have 58 credits already, but even if they accept me, I suspect I’ll only have maybe 3 semesters worth of credits that will transfer.
This transfer process is so painful. I worked hard for the past 2 years to put myself into a position to get into a school I couldn’t have gotten into out of HS because of my low GPA (3.3 UW) and SAT scores (1180/1900). These next two weeks are either going to be the best of my young life or extremely devastating.
I’d say we should give ourselves until Monday. Maybe by then, we’ll be lucky enough to get tabs :)

Way to be optimistic. Everything will work out in the end, regardless of acceptances or denial. You can’t put all of your eggs in one basket anyway.

Yess I do have a financial aid award tab too! However, it won’t tell me what my award IS there’s just some link to sign in, but I don’t know what my “ID” is so I can’t log into it.

It’s possible that they’re just starting to change things, but I still have hope for everyone else! Good luck because things could change in a second. My Applicant tab said I was a freshman applicant until last week so… who knows?

@Bluebayou It’s funny the schools I applied to - Barnard, Smith, Mount Holyoke, BC, Amherst and Brown… each one is on my list for different reasons. Smith and Mount Holyoke weren’t originally top choices, rather they were safeties that I applied to bc the app was free online and I fit their stats. It wasn’t until I visited Smith that I really loved it. :)
