Official Boston University Transfer Fall 2012

Got accepted through a phone call today after requesting an early evaluation last week. I applied for international relations with a GPA of 3.82. Now i have to spend time resolving the whole BU vs. NU dilemma. Hope you guys get your decisions soon.

congrats ipod!

Thanks norcaltransfer77, hope you hear back soon.

Hey for all of you guys waiting try calling, I had originally called and they told me transfer won’t hear back until early may/june. If you have other schools that need an answer let them know and they may speed up their application review for you!

My ApplicantLink asks for my mid-term reports today! But it is not even mid-term now com’on. What should I do… Some of my classes have ended already and we are preparing for finals… The waiting has been killing me.

Get those in ASAP! I think that they are waiting to make a decision but need something else to say yay or nay. This happened to me earlier last week, and after I got them in I was accepted so try to get it in ASAP!

For those of you who called up and asked for an early review, how long did it take them to get back to you after calling?

I just called today asking for a early review!!

SUPER nervous!

I called for an early review around 2 weeks before my May 1st deadline for another school. They released my decision exactly on May 1st.

Thanks for the advice @lalaz1000 ! Yes I will get my mid-term report done asap!!

I’m getting nervous now after reading the other posts on here about getting accepted. I applied back in January and haven’t heard anything. The Applicant Link still just says that my application is complete. I called back in March to make sure that they have received everything for both the application and financial aid, and they had. I’m not sure if I should call the school and ask for an early dicision or if I’m just being impatient… I’m going crazy waiting to hear for 5 months!

Any words of advice to calm my nerves?

They said we would find out during the middle of May! I called them last week.

My portal FINALLY says, “The review of your application is complete” For everyone who has gotten this message already, how long did it take to actually change to a decision???

I am SOO nervous…whoever has received a decision please answer!!!
thanks

Mine took maybe a week and a half to update to complete on the applicant link. I sent my stuff back in January so I’m not sure if that would have made any difference

anyone heard back from school of management yet?

Hi! I applied to BU as a transfer back in Feb. and my application status recently (yesterday afternoon) went from “application is complete” to “review of your application for admission is complete” Has anyone else gotten the samet thing on their portal? if so, how long did it take to hear an answer? I’m pretty anxious and nervous!! I applied to the Speech, Language and Hearing Science Program of the College of Rehabilitation Sciences: Sargent College. Please, if anyone can give me any information they have/know about, i’d appreciate it greatly!!

REJECTED…
3.5 gpa transfer from community college. Dang, that just blew my confidence level. I wonder if it was because I need a lot of aid? Or maybe I just suck. Dang. Good luck to everyone else.
