Hi
I am gonna be an incoming freshman at University of Illinois-Urbana. However,I plan to transfer to BU after my 1st year. I want to get into the School of Management. Can someone please tell me what are the courses I need to complete in my 1st year at Illinois cause I really couldnt understand from the website.
Thanks

My family earns less than 18k a year, and BU offers me $0 grants… After all, getting admitted means nothing when it comes to financial hardship… Good luck to the rest who are still waiting as very likely there will be one more spot from me giving up…:(:(:(:(

So, I was accepted with a 3.6 gpa from my first semester. This semester I did not do so well and got a 3.16, but nothing below a B-. Should I be worried about my acceptance being rescinded?

For those transfer applicants who received scholarship from BU, where did you find that out? From the Applicant Link or from the packet that BU mailed out to you?

what dorms are you guys trying to live in?

my application finally shows “the review of your application is complete” how long till i hear back?

can people start posting stats?

mine
college gpa 3.58
hs gpa 3.0

ec’s: great auditing internship, work since 13. supporting myself since 18

Umm so I got accepted quite a while ago but my financial aid package isn’t on the website and never was sent. Does it appear online or do you think I should call them asking for it o_O

hey! just got accepted into the school of management! :)

Jeeezzzzz, it seems that everyone has received their decisions. They came by mail right?? I’m an international applicant (Australia) so I can probably expect some delay if they are sent by mail.

If not then there is a serious issue ahah.

your decision should be on your applicant link maybe try calling bu to see whats up?

@elephant9.
I thought my decision would be on applicant link but all it says is “Our records currently indicate that your application for admission is complete. Please note that the status of your application file and the required credentials are only accurate to date.”

There is nothing there on when a decision will be made or more importantly the decision itself. Will probably give them a call tonight (Aus time) and see what the deal is.

if your decision was made there would be a section labeled decisions on the right

Accepted today
CAS- Architectural Studies- Junior
California Community College- Pasadena City College
HS GPA- 2.8 (didn’t try until my junior year, had A- avg in school thereafter)
College GPA- 3.8
SATs- didn’t send them
ECs- Eagle scout, Internship at political strategy group, Honor Society, United Nations, and a few school awards and ECs

Applied just to see where I could get in. Definitely not attending since there is no way I am going to pay the full 60K+ when I can go to a great state school. Sucks that transfers can’t defer enrollment. I could pull the scholarship money I would need in that time-decided to apply at the last minute.
If I didn’t have to consider cost, I rather go to BU rather than UCB, and UCLA where California CC students have priority and pay instate tuition (plus they don’t even look at HS transcripts.)

Got rejected today. Applied to AT/DPT major.
HS GPA 3.4
First undergrad GPA 2.73
GPA for Community College I attend to now 3.96
Was in a fraternity my undergrad and did many volunteering and participated in philanthropy events. Was very involved in campus activities in general.
Really don’t know why they didn’t like my application. Very bummed out.
Congrats to everyone that got in! Good luck to those still waiting for a reply
