I’m posting a lot of threads because I’m obsessed. sue me.

Remove the Stats / SATs /APs/IBs / GPA/ Rank. At this point, who cares - everyone who got in is on a level playing field. Plus, once you get here, you don't want to be the person who asks about that stuff, a lot of people find it annoying. (not saying that you would or anything, just letting you know, the whole attitude changes a lot from what it was in high school).

Thank you Oliver. Getting into a top LAC isn't necessarily about stats either. Luck plays a lot as well -you have a better chance of getting in if you live in an underrepresented area, have an unusual EC etc. My son expects a rejection because an athlete (with far lower stats) was accepted ED - bad luck for my son.

Good advice, Oliver.

I noticed the ED folks had thread going about them. Shall they post their stuff on here now, lecorbeau?

You've got yourself a deal. No GPA/SAT, etc.

EDers are '10ers so by all means, EDers, post away!

congratulations, Mike! I've seen your posts around here and I knew how badly you wanted to get in! :)

I got admitted RD via early write a week ago (well, two weeks ago, but I was on spring break so I didn't get the mail until last Sunday)! I am really excited. I don't know yet if I'm going, but I am so stoked to visit.

I can post my info or whatever if people want, but it's not anything like I built my own nuclear reactor or anything like that.

One question--was there anything in the acceptance packet about campus visit days? Mine mentioned them in passing, but didn't give any dates or anything like that.
