I commend you for working hard and applying to Brown as well as having such a positive attitude. If you still want to attend and are rejected in the spring, don't forget that a productive gap year can often lead to admission. This is especially true if something like SAT scores held you back and you can have a really meaningful experience over the course of the last year.
