<p>I applied for aid but I do know that aid is a consideration if they are thinking of offering you admission. But since I’ve got nothing to lose from staying on the waitlist(apart from my sanity)…I’m going for it. lol</p>

<p>Got accepted by Clark but they are not offering aid so I dont know if I will be able to enroll. the other 3 rejected me(Macalester, Mount holyoke, skidmore) and Brown waitlisted me. What about you?</p>
<p>Umm didn’t get any accceptance yet. Got waitlisted from 4 universities and Brown is one of them.</p>
<p>The same here. I am an international student from Bulgaria, and I have been waitlisted at 5 places including Brown. Obviously we will have to wait for over a month until the results come. I read last year’s waitlist discussion and the situation is not good, because last year Brown did not use the list, but only offer to several people z-list option, which is a good opportunity but the chances are not big. However, we hope that things will turn the way we want.</p>

<p>Colby, Bates, Gettysburg, Franklin and Marshall. I also applied to the other Ivies and Stanford but was rejected from them. What about you Gunner94, you said in previous post that you are waitlisted in other 3 universities. Which are they?</p>
<p>Oh thats nice and you didn’t get any acceptance from U.S, right? I got waitlisted by Yale, Case Western Reserve and Middlebury College.</p>
<p>Yes, no acceptances only waitlists. I was really disappointed, because I hoped things would have been different.</p>

<p>No, I applied only to universities in the USA. I only like liberal arts education, and in Bulgaria, and in most of the universities in Europe it is very different from that( education is based most of the time on only one major, and you have to study only it, aka it’s professional). There are some universities in the Netherlands that are liberal arts as well as some American Universities in several European countries, but the level of education in the USA is better. Thus, I chose only the USA. What about you Gunner94?
P.S. BrownFann, yes, I hope things will turn fine, but I am not sure about the chances since I need full financial aid.</p>

<p>Well theres just a little over a week to go for the May 1st reply deadline, will anybody be willing to call the admissions office a little after that to inquire whether or not the waitlist is being used?</p>
<p>Exact same situation this side!!!everything is just so constricted!you have to do one degree. Cant do various things. But I did apply to alocal varsity…doubt Id go though. will probably take a gap year and apply again next year if all this fails.</p>

<p>Vladi I am interested in liberal arts education but I want to do majors in chemical engineering for sure. I got accepted at McGill, HKUST, and Texas A&M Qatar, but in any case Brown and Yale remain top on my priority list and I’ll go to one of them if I get in one of them and you’re right U.S.A is better than the rest in education.</p>
