Official BU Class of 2018 Regular Decision Thread

@indiankid96 we thought it was a safety as well, but this year has proven there is no such thing. I thought my son’s supplement was excellent as well. you stats are very similar. good luck with the next school!

ACCEPTED! With about $50,000 in scholarship and financial aid :D

Fourth rejection. In despair. :(

People that got rejected but were guaranteed a transfer next year, what did your letter say? I’m confused by mine because it looks like that’s what they are inferring that, but not promising it

@ashm2014. Hahahha its not an assurance for transfer next year. The director means that you could always fulfill your dream of attending BU by working hard in another university and then applying as a transfer student.

@lakshay35. Keep calm, you will make it somewhere else. I got my friend who got rejected in all six he applied…guess what? his back-up or rather reach school was among the six…you better-off than him. keep focused and I do know how it feels to be rejected…it always gets better.

@IndianKid96. Tell me you kidding man…I can’t still believe you got rejected with such tough recs…The system is getting so unfair!!! wish you luck dude, I’m pretty sure you got back-up!!

I got in!!! sorry to all who didn’t.

Very happy I got in but I’m not %100 decided on going.

@dexter25, my first rejection was my backup school. I am yet to hear from NYU, Emory, and Drexel. And i got into UGA last month. Will probably transfer from there to the west.

Still nothing on site - is that strange?

My daughter got in for Neuroscience. 3.8 UW, 4.0 W, 1980 SAT’s. No money however. Seems like others did get money for similar stats. She also got into UCLA, and we are from California, so will have to see if it is worth twice the cost. But BU was her first choice and she is thrilled.
