**OFFICIAL CAL POLY SLO 2014-2015 Early Decision**

Hey guys I’m also freaking out about the decision coming out D: I’ve wanted to go there for years after my brother started going there. But anyway I was hoping you could give me some chances because I can’t find anyone who commented with my major haha.

Major:animal science
Csu gpa: 4.2
Act: 31 composite
I have only five hours of work a week but it does relate to my major… Thank you for your replies

Ps: I’ve taken 6 ap courses including APEC, ap calc, ap chem, apush, ap stats, and ap gov

My unweighted gpa is around a 3.96

Thanks! That’s reassuring…It’s out of my hands now :/

So…

9 more days until the 15th…

[-O<

What’s the latest that they started sending decisions? The 8th?

Disappointing that our year happened to be the year where we’ll find out the results later than usual.

The number of applicants all together (ED and normal) has risen significantly over the past couple of years, that could have something to do with it!

Please let us hear back monday [-O<

ahhh I just want to know already!! :-/

I think someone should call and ask when we will hear back(and not take dec15 as an answer!)

When I called them all they kept saying was “before December 15th” so there’s that… Someone else give it a try

@calpoly13‌ Are you saying that the averages listed on their website are the top 10%?

@ilovechloebell‌, I’m not sure where @calpoly13‌ got that “info” or if it means something other than what it seems to mean in his/her post, but it’s incorrect if it’s as you and I are interpreting it. The profile is of the 50th percentile. It’s the average of all who were admitted. Good luck.

@eyemgh thank you for clarifying!

I just had a dream that I didn’t get into SLO, but the dumbest girl in my class did… this is getting out of hand…

@eyemgh‌ Just wondering, so if Calpoly has such a strict MCA system for admissions, then how are people with 1250 SATs and a 3.78 GPA getting into Aerospace Engineering when I’m seeing people who are denied with 4.0+ GPAs and 1400 on the SAT? Can admissions sometimes be random to an extent?

I’m just seeing so many different people give so many varying thoughts about the CP admissions strategy on these threads.

Maybe those people with those very high stats got automatically rejected because they didn’t have a small requirement.

Another possibility could be maybe they didn’t take as hard a course load so they got a higher gpa vs someone who got a lower gpa but harder classes?

So is tomorrow going to be the day?

Watch them post results on December 14th and continue to torture us [-(
