**OFFICIAL CAL POLY SLO CLASS of 2019 Regular Decision** Thread

My D just got in. In state Biology, 4.0UW, lots of AP and Honors, 2060 SAT.

I’m OOS Software engineering major. Still haven’t found out yet.

in-state polisci, no update yet, any others?

My D is also in state Polisci. Still haven’t heard anything. Does anyone know how competitive Polisci is at Cal poly?

any in state psych majors hear back yet? I’m a transfer applicant so I won’t hear back until next week most likely but that’s not set in stone.

I heard somewhere they update by alphabetical order of majors which would explain why a lot of bio people know already while for example Polisci is not up yet

In state, D accepted!!! YEAH.

Does aNyone know how competitive the Graphic Communications major is?

@citybus What major? Stats? (If you don’t mind posting)

Daughter accepted! Biological Sciences, in state.

Major: Biological Sciences
Stats: 4.04 CSU calculated GPA, 28 ACT,

My D is Biomedical Engineering in-state and has not heard. I think School of Engineering posts decisions later…

but Aerospace isn’t up yet (somewhere in previous comments) so I don’t think that it is 100% conducive

@gblm93 - Aerospace Engineering?? I think it might be at a different time. It does seem that the only posters here that have been accepted are Biological Sciences and not any other major…

hopefully they tell us soon! I’m a transfer, though, so I’m sure I will be told last regardless. :frowning:

I want to say they release decisions by each college at Cal Poly. So far, I want to say that they’ve released the majors in the College of Science and Mathematics. Hope this helps.

@gblm93 and @Wishforcalpoly - My daughter is a freshman poli sci major at CPSLO. Last year, poli sci had 849 applicants and about 200 were offered admission, according to this:

Good luck!

I applied as a Mathematics major and have not yet received my decision.

why does cal poly do it this way, why not all at once?

thanks, @socalmom23. good insight on impaction of the CLA and polisci
