Guess my theory is incorrect, this years process is a mystery and is very delayed. Expect it to change next year. You didn’t hear that from me btw.
I’m a biology instate and still nothing for me…
Anyone for wine and viticulture??? still no decision
So just a quick question…Are they actually letting people know today in order of degree name or what? I have been hearing so much stuff I am not too sure what to believe now
Maybe 5:00?
I haven’t heard anything in manufacturing engineering yet. When can we guess that the engineering department will be releasing decisions?
I highly doubt they’ll be releasing anymore today, it’s after hours now. Anticipate tomorrow.
@joogman23 do you know anything about wine &viticulture stats??
@leandraduke I do not have any information regarding freshman, I’ve only been spoken to and been passed down information about transfer students thus far.
hi i just found out that i’ve been accepted for chemistry. I am very surprised considering my stats.
gpa: 3.55 uw SAT (1730): 610CR 570M 550W ACT (25): Eng 25 Math 22 Reading 30 Sci 24 Writing 8
i’m also taking no APs this year with one honors course. i’m out of state btw
I think some of the posts here are fake so just try and be calm and patient. Best of luck to all!
Does anyone know if they send decisions out alphabetically by name, or any other specific system?
Bawlmer, I agree.
I definitely think the Chemistry post is fake…I know I have read that somewhere before. Way to take advantage of people. Pathetic.
^ just because you or your children haven’t gotten in yet doesn’t mean the other posts are fake. Cal Poly’s admissions process is very unique. The person with the “best stats” may not always get in.
I know that they run the MCA program for each college individually. As far as releasing the decisions to the public, I want to say they do it by each college as well.
Wouldn’t more people post more chemistry acceptances than just that one if it was real you have to think about that
Has anyone who is an active poster in cc gotten in yet?
dude i’m serious
@sdsu2014 is spot on. A person with a 3.5 could get in easily before a person with a 4.2. It’s all apart of the algorithm that Cal Poly runs the applications through. This has been discussed many posts ago. Please refer back.
And not everyone has a CC account and is gonna post their stats… Have you ever thought of that?
