Any in state political science acceptances?
chill
All decisions are released by April 1st, so im guessing acceptances aren’t over yet… for all subjects
I think the hardest part is that so many apply to Cal Poly only as a safety school, they get admitted and then decline. That’s why I applied ED Economics. I was told by admissions that they go strictly by GPA, test scores and class rigor. Good luck to all of you and there is still hope!
@calpoly13 Ah I see, My math act was a 31 and english was a 27. Thank you for the clarification!
“Conditionally Accepted”-- basically means I need to graduate, finish the year without getting lower than a C in any class and all my self-reported information matches up with my official transcripts.
-Is everybody “conditionally accepted?” Or is it only people who were on the fence?

Anyone hear anything from CAED…specifically Arch E??? Waiting sucks!
Just for reference, could you guys post when you received or at least found your acceptances? Thanks.
There’s no way engineering acceptances are already over… Right? .__.
@jarcal96 yes everyone is conditionallyaccepted.
Can anyone actually confirm that all of the acceptances for any given major have gone out?
@beerskid there were only two OOS architecture acceptances on this thread
no instate CAED or other majors from OOS! It seems like every college but CAED
My D just got in for Political Science. In state.

btw, i found i got accepted into kinesiology when i logged into my portal, not from an email… i didn’t even get an email from slo haha.
So I investigated last year’s acceptance discussion and found the following for last year’s trends:
-Acceptances started on 2/14 and continued until about 3/7 (not including waitlist)
-The largest amount of acceptances were released until about 2/25, and from then on acceptances appeared to be rather sparse (but this is only based on what people posted in the chat).
-Waitlists were sent out on 2/27 and for a few days afterward.
-The order of acceptance releases was based on the applicant, and not by major.
@apatterson96 So what you are saying is that there is some hope for us applicants who have not seen a decision yet? Well sir, I’m hoping you are correct…
@apatterson96 where there different days that a major could release acceptances? not just one day or
this could be a massive coincidence, but if you search on Twitter “CalPoly acceptance”, I have not seen a single post with anyone having a last name past P in the alphabet. As many of you know, more last names, on average, fall later in the alphabet… so is it remotely possible they are released by major, but then also by name?
To all you looking to rationalize your lack of answer-- to be straight up with you. Last year nearly everyone who was accepted was accepted all in one batch. Maybe plus or minus a few hours. If you did not hear yet for majors with several acceptances it’s highly likely you got rejected or waitlisted. It’s the truth, same exact thing happened last year, and all those looking for a reason were later posting their rejections. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Son just accepted to Poli Sci, 4.34 w, 3.89 uw, 27 ACT!
