<p>I am over the limit for one of my essays and am driving myself mad trying to figure out how to condense it</p>
<p>You probably have superfluous language. Start by taking out any words you don’t necessarily need (e.g. adverbs)</p>
<p>^I’m working on doing that right now. I know contractions are a no no in college essays, but using them would definitely help me make my limit. Should I do it?</p>
<p>I don’t think I used them; it really depends on how informal you want to be. I wouldn’t advise it, though.</p>

<p>Lol my supplement had no limit xD But, um, are you sure absolutely everything you have in there you need? You might have to curtail one of your paragraphs, or even ideas.</p>
<p>Well one thing I did in my essays isn’t necessarily needed but I think it helps the overall flow of my essay. I used it to introduce my new paragraphs/topics. I don’t know how to cut that out with out ruining it, but it looks like I’m going to have to try.</p>
