i highly doubt it will be this friday, the 14th. but if we were able to wait this long (months, even years for some of us), then we can wait another week. just relax haha.

So basically, if we don’t get the notification e-mail tomorrow, we have to wait till the 21st? :(

@College: Pretty much, I would say so

Last year, the heads up email came out on Wednesday, a little after 3:00 PM.

@Dadinator: And how much time was between the decision and the email?

^FraNeighbor I think the time between the two was 2-3 days. Not sure but I think I remember reading that

Yep decisions were

^^On Friday and Saturday. Sorry

Yeah the “get ready” email was sent on a wednesday and applicants started to received admissions notifications that friday and saturday. Will decisions be delayed due to the hurricane?

I doubt admissions will be delayed because of the hurricane. If we don’t get a get ready email tomorrow by 5pm they probably won’t come out until next week.

Highly doubt it. Most colleges would probably just put in a little more effort to finish the apps in time so they could stick to the deadline…any other opinions??

Even though we may not hear Friday, I definitely don’t think they will wait until the 21st. That is the day before they go on break and last year it took 2 days to get everyone’s decisions out so they can’t start on the last day. Plus it’s too risky if the servers crash or something. It was on a Friday last year but that doesn’t mean it will be this year. The year before it was a Thursday. I still think we might hear on the 14th though.

Should follow last year’s trend, I think… Hurricane shouldn’t be a big factor.
Although some applications may have been late, Michigan wasn’t affected so…

The hurricane didn’t impact the midwest. Kids that were without power and filed to request an extension should have heard back by now if their apps would in the EA round.

So last year the “Ready” emails were sent 12/14

Decisions came out 12/16

Now, do not worry if you don’t get your acceptance right away, the same time as others!

Oh gosh! I hope we get those ready emails tomorrow!! And boy, if we do find out our decisions this will be one hectic weekend for me! I’m auditioning for RENT and we find out if we are cast this weekend as well…

Also they have to release before the 21st, because the 21st is the last day that they’re open before they close down for Christmas. I’m guessing that the latest they could send them would be the 18th, but a Tuesday is a strange day to send it, which is why I’m banking on them coming out starting on the 14th.

i’m so anxious!
