Official Class of 2021 Northeastern University Early Decision/Early Action Discussion

3-4 pm and they take 4-5 hours to complete. They start in MA and work their way down!

How do they do it - check the portal or sending emails to applicants? Anyone know?

Thanks so much - @TomSrOfBoston – will look for an email 3pm of after and link to check. Good luck everyone!

@TomSrOfBoston Can u pls advise when can international students expect decisions given that you said they start from MA and move downwards?

I’m scared that I won’t get in

same

If I am from NJ, should I expect a decision between 3-4 do you think or later?

GPA: 3.89 unweighted
SAT: 2100 (old)
ACT: 33

9 ap classes and 3 honors (all 4s and 5s)

Soccer, tennis, political science, speech and debate, etc.

Applied EA for nursing major

what do you guys think

Im in Washington state so… I probably won’t get one until 9

I’m nervous for my daughter. NU is her first choice (but she didn’t realize it until after the ED deadline had passed). I think she’ll be devastated if she doesn’t get in. Good luck to everyone!

@lolonimous I believe they came out at the end, after west coast applicants were notified. Not certain though.

When talking about how we’ll get notified, by “portal”, are you all referring to what they call the “Application Status Check”? If not, what?

yes

S1 was accepted ED; S2 is awaiting anxiously for the EA decision. Good luck all.

Midwesterners what do you think, 7pm eastern time, 6pm central?

Are we positive it’s today? Without a shadow of a doubt? (Don’t want to get excited for nothing hah)

Even though NEU is basically my top choice, it’s also (not by a long shot) my most competitive/selective school.

I’m getting extremely paranoid that if I get deferred from NEU, it’s a sign that my application is not as strong as I thought.

Anyone else know that they won’t receive their aid offer if admitted?

@c011e9e Nothing is positive.
