@crowlady - Yes, time till 26th gave me a huge relief when I read it. The people at Cornell must be working so hard right now, specially since the decisions would be out on 12.12.13.

But I checked the self-service site today and they have received the scores and my application has already been forwarded to the admission staff!!

Hi, what’s the consensus on cornell receiving late info. I sent in the nov. SAT as well and a third teacher rec, but since they might have already reviewed our app, what impact would late info even have? Thanks!

Cornell got my Nov scores because the application status check system now has updated scores (scores from the Nov SAT)… but if Cornell has already reviewed my application since my application was complete even without the Nov SAT scores (I sent my October scores in before the Nov score came out), would the admissions committee look at my application with the new updated Nov scores? or would they disregard the new scores?? I indicated on the Common App that I’ll be taking the Nov test and I’ve only taken the SAT once before Nov (Just the Oct test). My math score increased significantly as well!

I wanted cornell to go look at a newspaper thing I sent and a resume (since there is a fair bit more about my character on my resume), so I’m sending it in. If you send an email to cornell admissions saying to expect something rolling in, that email is put into your file.

Agreed, I would wait a couple of days before contacting them, if at all! My second recommender submitted her letter on the day before the deadline, and my portal wasn’t updated to reflect this for five or six days.

It’s about one week from December, guys! How are you all holding up in the waiting game?

I just tried to send an email to admissions, but I almost automatically received an email saying that the email address I entered couldn’t be found. I can’t figure out what the problem is. Anyone have/had a similar experience?

Has anyone else confirmed that decisions come out on December 12, or was it just that one phone call? Haha waiting is torture…how are you guys doing on your regular apps?

@Bubbles888 The Assistant Director of Admissions confirmed it to me that they are planning to release the decisions on 16th December and not on 12th.

^I’d like to know this as well. In fact, it seems strange that Cornell would be privately disclosing the notification date to applicants when they’ll still be reviewing apps for a few weeks.
