What do you mean date? Mine don’t show nothin

If they decide to postpone the date, I am gonna kill myself.

It went back to how it was before they updated.

"Hello _________,

Thank you for using our online self-service application status system. The checklist below indicates materials received and processed by the Undergraduate Admissions Office and does not include materials sent to the college or school admissions offices or to the financial aid office.

If you have sent application materials, please do not send duplicate copies. After you have sent a document electronically or by mail it will take 7-10 business days for it to be received, processed, and then appear on your application status. The estimated processing time will increase during peak periods.

Early decision applicants: We will notify you in mid-November if we are missing materials from your application, and we will provide you with an opportunity to submit those materials. "

I’m ILR.

@Biz Ok, mine says the same thing as well

can’t believe its already time for us to find out decisions! I just can’t wait to move on with my life after I find out. For now I can’t concentrate on anything else though :/

They’re not moving the date back, look on their website. Everything’s fine…

No way, could they really have postponed the date again?! :C So we continue to be stuck in this state of uncertainty…

To-do list for this weekend:
- More apps (Northwestern, Brown, Georgetown, etc.)
- Study for upcoming exams
- Try not to agonize over impending college decisions

Mine still says 12/16 5pm

On my ipod my application status has on the screen the 12/16 5pm, but on my computer, my application status has the other screen…that’s weird lol

Mine’s gone back to the old one too. Don’t worry, guys – chances are it’s just a system issue, and doesn’t say anything about your decision. They’ve already announced the official date on their website.

I’m applying to CAS, by the way.

Edit: @debrules, my computer and phone are doing the exact opposite…weird.

Out of curiosity, is there any real reason why some people believe there is a correlation between acceptance and the updated message (or removal thereof)?

@JeremyMC27

The reason is that those people are FREAK out about their decisions, and they are so FREAK out that they can’t do any work until next next Monday. So, when they can’t work, they have to find something to occupy themselves, daydreaming is one.

You, Jeremy, my smart friend, I believe you know that life still goes on, and your life is today, not some random Monday, not some random 5 P.M. EST. Cherish today, this moment, and accomplish what you should accomplish

Though that random Monday and the random 5 PM EST totally determine if I will have a life for the rest of this year and party hardcore or will be depressed write uni supplements crazily.

^ Agreed…Coupled with his “Cornell is my safety Ivy that I’m going to transfer out of” post, sometimes I can’t tell if cicit123 is trolling or just an applicant with a strange sense of humor!

On a side note, I hate how quickly it gets dark outside now–it’s 4:30 and the sun already looks like it’s about to go down. This makes me feel super unproductive!

Ninja edit: Did his post get deleted? It looks like I’m responding to nothing…oh well, haha.

^My post responding to cicit123’s post got deleted, too. Guess the mods were quick about it.

Are you on the west coast, Coriander? It’s 6:30 where I’m at and I should be working on more college apps…like Rice…which is due in a week…

Hahaa, it is 3.10 am at where I am

It’s been so cold lately. Is God preparing us for the weather at Cornell? hehehe

anyone going to make a “Cornell Admission Decision” video?

@Coriander I KNOW that post about Cornell being his “safety ivy” really PO’d me. I’m not really sure what to think either.

Right now I’m planning out a schedule to write my other supplements in case Cornell doesn’t want me, but who knows if I’ll actually stick with it, haha.

The 16th can’t come soon enough!

@epicdude17 what other colleges you planning to apply to?
