Should I actually be concerned if my Financial Aid information isn’t updated? I turned in the missing documents about a week and a half ago. Are the financial aid and admissions processes actually completely separate? I’m worried the admissions people might want to save the FA people some effort and kinda be like “Don’t bother worrying about this kid anymore, he’s not getting in”

What’s with so many differals on the Brown results thread?

Darn, my good friend got deferred from Brown and nobody from my HS seems to have been accepted to Columbia… I hope things look brighter for us.

A close friend of mine just got into Duke!! (Though another friend hasn’t said a word on Facebook about his Columbia results.) Monday seems like it’s just around the corner!

When I log into the CUWeb Login with my previous Applicant ID, “To Do List” pops out and I cannot find the original page that I used to see. Does this possibly mean that I am rejected/accepted? I’m so freaked out right now… What happened to my Applicant ID? omg!

Everyone paranoid…

More like, “everyone moronic…”

Come on people. If you’re the best of the best, you sure aren’t acting like it. If I were a Cornell admissions officer, I wouldn’t accept any of you.

So 4 days…
Make that 4 more sleepless nights haha

How dare people be anxious and excited for news that might will definitely change their entire lives?! The very idea! You people are all idiots for talking about Early Decision in a forum and thread specifically dedicated to talking about Early Decision. /s

I thought I’d say hello! I wish everyone luck because I’m sure you’re all just as nervous and excited as I am. I’m applying to Agriculture for Entomology and I would give anything to make it.

I’m from Illinois and I adore insects. Hope to see y’all at Cornell next year!

It’s a fine line between acting nervous and acting like a jittery chicken with its head cut off. I’m surprised no one has asked about the planet alignments at 5PM on Monday and how that will affect internet transmissions on Earth, causing all results to say “denied.”

@violabug3 I also know someone applying to entomology!! whats your score?? do you know if its hard to get into??

@asdfghbvcx (I like your name by the way),

It’s my passion! I’d love to meet your friend. As for my score, what do you mean? I met with Professor Gilbert while I was there. link >[Cole Gilbert | Department of Entomology](<a href=“Entomology | CALS”>Cole Gilbert | CALS).

He doesn’t know how many people apply, but around 8-16 people make it as a major. It’s really, REALLY small. (but spectacular nonetheless).

@getoveritnow That’s one of the many reasons you are not an admissions officer at Cornell.

Now I can log in to application checklist! Sorry if I made anyone upset. :)

Good luck to everyone.

Agreed, Heisenbot! I’m impressed with your dedication to have created an account with the intent of commenting about our “moronic” behavior, getoveritnow, but please try not to be so negative.

Entomology sounds like a cool major! I’m not the biggest fan of bugs, but at least I sat there calmly as a large spider crawled across my desk this morning. I’m doing entomology as a category for Science Olympiad so I guess I’ll come to you guys for bug-related advice, haha.

@violabug3
Appparently he doesn’t do college confidential but I could tell him!! He wants to know people’s stats since he never seen people who applied entomology

@heisenbot, why would i want some mundane job such as an admissions officer?

and are you telling me you don’t get a chuckle out of how ridiculous some of the people on here are? “oh, my toe nail is dirty. i wonder if that affects my chances? i better withdraw my application now.”

Thanks Petersuu!

@Coriander23. I’m doing SO as well, for Entomology (of course). I’ve been waiting 4 years for it! Anyway, let me know if you need any advice. I’d love to help you out :)
