<p>@AmlanSinha depends on which school you apply, all I know is that CoE is quite self-selective (as in, most applicants are pretty strong), also depends on whether you are from Bangladesh or from India. Not many cornell applicants are from Bangladesh so should be very chanceful, but many are from India so competitive</p>
<p>@sssssccccc My strongest point is probably my test scores, so Engineering is maybe the worst school I could have applied to.</p>

<p>@slipshod It’s “enough” but by no means does it mean you’ll get in for sure.</p>
<p>My friend was just rejected from CalTech and deferred by MIT with: 2400 SAT (as a sophomore), 36 ACT, 2400 SAT II’s, seven 5’s on AP tests, National Merit Semifinalist, 4.0UW, 4.8W, Calc BC as a sophomore, national recognition, etc.</p>
