Cornell says they do not need ED agreement—that they consider your application via CA as the ED agreement. They communicated this last Friday.

Re: scores…could probably get away with not sending rush. Somewhere on one of their admission pages it says something to the effect of Oct scores being OK, no need to rush as long as ordered on test date. Since you are ordering well after the test date, you may want to consider it but I am not convinced it is worth the additional fee. Judgment call on that one.

Well, I’m not looking to repeat that anytime soon…I don’t recommend it. But in the meanwhile, that looks like the record for anyone in my school.

I applied on the 6th and still haven’t gotten my app id yet. My friend who applied to Duke got it in under 24 hours. If any of you is in the same predicament as me, rest assured. I chatted with cornell IT support and they told me that their system is overloaded and those who haven’t received their app ID should receive it around 7 days after that they sent their app.

Yea, FERPA isnt a fee waiver. its ur waiver to ur rights to view everything the school sends; transcripts, recs, etc
NOT waiving it hurts ur chances I believe, correct me if im wrong

FERPA has nothing to do with admissions. It allows you to grant/not grant unlimited access to your academic records (once enrolled) to your parents.
