I live in New York, and my acceptance was a thin envelope that was as big as a letter size paper. Nothing is online though. I also got accepted to SHA, which according to a lot of posters, come out early.

Thanks wanp54362. I am sure you are having a great weekend! Congrats!

@mistanervous, someone already got into ILR from my school. Is there any chance of another getting in?

@arabianprincess yes, it’s possible.

Does Cornell ILR notify all applicants in early March or do they only notify accepted applicants?

@FarwelltoArms: My suspicion is that they notify all accepted applicants in early March. And because the admission I believe is rolling, they will notify all those accepted early March. March 27 will be the last date they reveal any other acceptances. They will also unleash all the rejections on that day.

I’m pretty sure @APushed96 is right…from what I can tell, only the East Coast has gotten decisions so far. I think a lot of us will find out this week, though!
@mistanervous how do you know it’s two batches?

@dannyo95

You can search around this forum, it has become known that ILR and hotel decisions are sent out in two batches. Notice that all these ilr and hotel acceptances say Feb 28, as they all went out at once. I’m not sure when the next batch will be mailed out, but you’ll be able to see your admissions decision on the website on March 27th at 5 pm.

Pennsylvanian here. Accepted ILR. received letter March 6, letter dated March 3rd.

I applied ED to ILR and was deferred and still waiting to hear back. It seems like ILR sent out all their acceptances but I talked to a girl that got in from my school last year and she found out on March 28th which seems to be from this “second batch” of decisions so don’t feel too discouraged if you haven’t heard back.

I guess I’m wrong about it being strictly two “batches” as there are some others here saying they’re dated March 3rd. However, historically, from looking at this forum, there’s two waves. One at the beginning of march and one at the end, with the last one being accompanied by a decision on the portal. I didn’t apply to ILR or SHA so I’m not really sure.

Has anybody received a likely letter?

ah applied to CALS I wish they did came out earlier too…but sadly not too confident given the acceptance rates of AEM

Hey guys what is the release date for CALS decisions and do they give out likely letters?

i would love to know the same thing, i applied to CALS and am eager to know

@debrules @collegegirl2596
All of the Cornell’s schools, except SHA and ILR which start earlier, release official decisions on March 27th 5pm EST this year. That is a confirmed date. Likely letters are given out for CAS, CoE, and CALS I believe and those get sent out mid march I think.

@matrixsurgeon - all right, thank you :)

@matrixsurgeon thank you!

I phoned CALS Admission office and they indicated that they follow the March 27 notification date. I did not ask about likely letters. If anyone receives a likely letter from CALS, would you please let everyone know? Thank you.

@dannyo95

Have you heard anything yet? Nothing here… Starting to get worried that if I don’t get a little then that automatically means rejection…
