Midyear still not in... I'm getting anxious about decisions! Lol

yea mine isnt checked neither
my school sent them in during the feb break which was ehhh
like 2 , 3 weeks ago?
getting tired of waiting really

Hey all-
I am very glad to learn that I am not alone in my anxious waiting game!! I have been checking the website CONSTANTLY-still no updates!! It has been about two months since they "forwarded my application". Oh well-it is a huge long shot for me,as there were about five other people (Valedictorian among) in my class who are absolutely brilliant who applied to Cornell. As for myself, I pretty much did not get stellar grades until last year...and my SATS are "okay" and that's even a stretch. I applied to CALS for animal science (going to be a vet). Good luck to everyone!

me too, except 4 other people that I know of (including the valedictorian who was already accepted and one who got a likely letter from Dartmouth). Where in NY are you from?

Honeoye Falls

lol, never heard of it, what part of New York is it in. Have you ever heard of Rome, Utica, or Syracuse (you HAVE to have heard of Syracuse, lol) I'm about 45 minutes east of Syracuse and 20 minutes north of Utica...exact geographic center of NY.

Nice....HF is approximately 20 minutes from Rochester(home of the controversial fast ferry) and basically in the middle of a cornfield. I have heard of Rome, Utica and of course, Syracuse. I think Utica is 1.5-2 hours away from Honeoye Falls

Oh wow I forgot about this thread.

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!! THE WAIT WILL SOON BE OVER!

makes cyber suffocating noises

The website says I'm missing my mid-year report, but I got the CALS acceptance in the mail. Hold out hope!

I still haven't heard and it seems like A LOT of people have...I am becoming very anxious. Does anyone know a date by which most people who were accepted were notified by last year??? I'm very worried. :(

Do the rolling admissions schools send out only the acceptances on a rolling basis and the waitlists and rejecteds at the end or is everything on a rolling basis?
What do you think they mean by early april? before the 15th?

All results should be released on 1st April; whether you can log on and find out is another matter. I heard from a friend that so many people tried to access Cornell's online account last year that it crashed. Was down and out for a few hours... which, for me, is plenty of time to suffer from a massive and fatal stress-induced heart failure

Hey, for those admitted, could you post listed major and college? It just seems like a lotta vets and sciences are getting admitted. I applied to AEM. Has anyone gotten admitted into AEM yet? Maybe they sort by intended major.

About the midyear and online status discussion: My Mid-year is in, but I don't have a link to Check your Decision yet. Argh!! On the bottom, it says the site is updated once a day. I guess that is a lotta pages to update...

I applied to AEM and have heard nothing so I really hope it is sorted by intended major although I'm doubtful of that.

what does AEM stand for?

applied economics and management

ILR... damn.. I want to know NOW

I'm applying to Human Ecology as a transfer student.

On the bottom of the webpage where I can check on the status of my app, it shows "Cornell has not made a decision..blahblahblahblah...please continue to check back...blahblahblah"

Does this mean they are close to making a decision? I didn't see this until a week ago.

About rolling schools, if you're on the border, do they keep your application until the end or do they automatically waitlist you?
