Official Cornell Transfer 2011

@john1234567: me too!!! I applied to engineering, and still have x’s next to college transcript, official’s report, and mid term that disturbs me everytime I check… T.T

I have the first two taken care of, (i guess it’s going through the process or on its way to…) but I don’t know what to do regarding the mid term report; i am reluctant to go pay visits to my instructors now, mainly b/c i only have like 1 test grade &c. (what’s there to report then i mean?) but I’ll have to do it soon… :(

^ I was told that even though all of my documents have been processed, my review cannot start without my Mid-Term Report. All things being equal, I don’t think it holds that much sway in the admissions process, so I’m not sure why it is necessary for review to begin. But I’m just the applicant and they’re Cornell so what do I know?

So far I am very happy with my Mid-Term Report and only need one more grade and signature and I can send it off. God bless to all in this process. I’ve been waiting for this moment for two years and I can’t believe I’m on the precipice of receiving an admission decision from Cornell.

Does anyone know where we should send corrections for our app. They arn’t accepting calls right now. What email should we use?

Hey guys, I have sent all of my financial stuff, but it keep telling to do list.

countryheart,

I would send it to the school you are applying to.

@john1234567, i’m in the same boat. i sent everything except fafsa. maybe they need the fafsa to start reviewing it?

I have a question: I would have to go around professors regarding the mid-term report, but due to the nature of this process, it is inevitable that I see the comments, should any leave some. Then, what is the point of waiving rights to see or not???
(It may be fairly obvious but I can’t really make sense of it…I guess i’m exhausted)

^It isn’t necessarily to “see” but to have the ability to access in the future should an applicant choose to do so.

Hey, I just find out that the midterm report should be sent when you receive it. My midterm will be available for me in April, is that too long.

circusfreak91e- what college did you apply for?

has anyone of you guys applying for ILR done the interview yet?

^Nope. ILR told me they would contact me to set one up. Though looks like my file is about to be sent to review.

I was told the decision for CALS will come out btw Mar to May… So excited!

@psulsy, what major did you apply to CALS?

Would it be out of line to ask what the interviewer asked you? I’ve never had a college admit interview before…I have no earthly clue what to expect…

@kiwi AEM, how about you?

@john1234567: I applied to CALS as a Biological Sciences major. Depending on what college you are applying for, it shouldn’t really matter if it is that late. Some of the decisions didn’t come out until June, but obviously, sooner is better.

@psulsy: March to May! That is so soon. Last year no one heard till late April/early May.

@circus the thing is, they said the decision for freshmen decision will come out after 3.30, but for transfer decision will come out after mid-April, according to their status checking website.

@ntrading- thank you! I don’t even like job interviews, lol, and this is much more important to me than ANY job has ever been…so I can already see myself completely blowing it out of nerves alone  Thanks for the heads-up and reassurance…should probably go talk to myself in the mirror, get some practice in… hahaha
