I couldn’t agree with you more. Am going to form a facepage group for
cornell transfers. Did you start your housing app yet.

Join, especially if you are a ILR admit

@transfer9858. What did you say to the lady when you called?

have any non-hook (GT, articulation agreements etc) CALS applicants heard back yet?

Just got an email from admissions. Its looking really good for me to say the least. Ill be back to explain later…(CAS Economics)

So they’re emailing decisions?

@Billionaire~
WOw~SO YOU R IN~!? congrats~!

@billionaire>
I am dying to hear more about the details~

I just called and was told the majority of CAS decisions will be mailed out on the 22nd, and if your application is under review, then to expect something within a couple weeks.

Not accepted “yet” :wink: wink wink … but not looking to bad either. Ill post details around 1pm pacific.

lol are you kidding? you’ve got to be… :/

@GodricGryffindor LOLOLOLOLOL. I had bartending school last night and was falling asleep, so I opted to just go for some black coffee. Needless to say…I regret my decision because I definitely JUST woke up. And don’t bro me, bro! Makes me feel all testosterone-y. Weird. haha

Just called to see if my application had already processed through because I still need to send in my midterm report…apparently it’s going through the selection committee right now? o_O I’M NOT DONE WITH MY APPLICATION ):

Just called Cornell…still reviewing my app. So there’s still hope, I suppose, but the fact that it’s been in review for…like, three weeks, I think?- makes me nervous. Seems like if they really want you they know it pretty fast, the longer it takes, the lower your chances…just a gut feeling though, I guess. Sigh…

What are you guys saying when you call?

It’s pointless to call. The fact that they’re reviewing the application is stated on the website and the only reason they even say anything like that is to be nice. What they would love to say is: “It’s done when it’s done, leave us alone.” lol.

Now if you don’t get an acceptance/rejection by June, I’d start getting worried and call, but right now people are just being impatient. If anything, they could hold a grudge against you for being annoying and it could affect your chances. But go ahead, doesn’t affect me.

Has anyone not sent in their midterms yet? :/

^^Yeah you’re probably right, and that was my initial thought; it was only because there had been at least two other people who, in the same day, called and were told they were accepted…they got to find out early by calling, so I couldn’t help myself, lol, I’m just consumed by this right now! But I think you’re right and I don’t want to harass them so I will continue to impatiently wait by my mailbox… :/

@randomm I had a legit question, haha. It’s not like I called to be all, “OMGWHENISMYAPPDONEIWANTDECISIONNAORAWRR” I called because my first semester’s grades were poop and I’m still waiting on one professor to sign on my mid-term report. He refuses to do so until we finish our next test :/

I wanted to call to make sure my app wasn’t done because there’s still additional supplements that I needed to send in on my own accord, yo.
