Official Cornell Transfer 2011

@liangg: ;-)

@liangg yup hotel school for me!

The wait is almost over, just hang in there!

@06122010: Have you sent in your TIPS training certificate yet? I am sending it tmro…well…i was supposed to send it last week,but i have been busssy
what school are u goin 2 now?

@liangg I’m sending in my updated resume tomorrow, which states that my TIPS and Bartending certifications are in progress. The expected completion dates are on there, too. Also sending in my mid-term because I’m doing REALLY well this semester, haha. I really do hope acceptances don’t come until next week, though because I really wants this to be a factor in my application!

I GOT IN!!!

Haha j/k guys, sorry (just practicing for later lol). Popped on here for a sec and saw all the sad faces, so I thought I’d prompt a movement to visualize success. ;)

Also I’m not sure that link was the right one- that one requires a NetID, which, if I understand correctly, none of us have until we officially get accepted (and informed of our ID’s). Could be wrong, but what I was doing was logging into the housing portal, where you can use your applicant ID. I think that’s supposed to be the indicator of admission…

Can anyone confirm this?

Here’s the link to the housing portal page:

[Housing - logging-in-to-the-housing-portal](<a href=“Residential Life | Student & Campus Life | Cornell University”>Residential Life | Student & Campus Life | Cornell University)

Logging in with an applicant ID is the second option on the page.

Good luck… :)

^which college did u apply to?

logging in to the housing method never work for me :(

I applied to ILR. And the housing thing doesn’t work for me, either. But hope springs eternal…

anyone get in from CAS?

Whenever I try to log into housing, it says my session has timed out and that I am no longer logged in…

I heard from an admissions counselor that most CAS decisions will be going out on the 22nd.

havent heard anything from ILR yet, but I had my telephone interview in early Apirl. Everyone good luck! it shoud come out in two weeks

@GodricGryffindor: Do you happened to know what form of communication that will be?

@violet427: Snail-mail, cuz.

I didn’t mean to get anyone else depressed or feeling down, I’m sorry if I did. I’m just disappointed that I have to compete against you guys if I want to get in.

CAS decisions will be sent via mail

as much as I love ILR, i have to point out that we are all adults here…we all can handle that much stress of waiting and the possible rejection… after all, we are in college not in highs chool anymore. Good luck everyone!

@LesleyG Ah, but you see, that’s the best part! It’s the nostalgia of high school! I kind of like it. Makes me feel like I have purpose!
