@ Absurd, congrats on ILR!u r the first one on CC who were not accepted my a phone call. When did you have your interview?

@ cornellaccepted

by mail, same day as my more official acceptance letter but in a separate envelope.

@ DoReMi

Thanks!

Im applying to CAS as an econ major but yesterday, i got an email from the college of human ecology, asking if i would like to be considered for a major in their school, policy analysis and management.

Im not entirely sure what to think of it really. I suppose that if the CHE people saw something in my application, that may mean that my chances in general are good. I emailed back to ask if i have to choose between the two schools or if i can apply to both and see what happens.

Someone claimed that they were able to sign in at the following link before they were accepted. They claimed that it was probably because they were accepted. This is the link:

<a href=“Cornell University Web Login”>Cornell University Web Login;

Please share if you are able to log in.

Anyone who got accepted to Cornell college of engineering as Fall 2011 transfer ??

they just are in the process of processing my transcript–hope its not too late b/c I applied to CALS and my app is not even in review yet

I can’t log in.
but,in the past thread, people were saying that the ability of logging into housing is an indicator of if you get accepted, but someone who cannot log in also get accepted. So don’t worry about it too much if you cannot log in!

I couldn’t log in, I don’t hold much hope for transferring either. I question why I even applied to transfer nowadays, the odds are just slim and all it holds is inevitable heartbreak come rejection season.

@thestorm: dont put yourself down. Nobody knows with these things. I have known overly qualified students not get into top schools and people who are under-qualified (I put myself in this group) get in. It is only guesswork on our end and it comes down to if you fit the mold. I sure hope all of us fit this mold on CC!!!

Sigh.

That’s how I’m feeling @thestrom… I’m getting more and more worried by the minute, and who knows however many DAYS (or weeks) I still have to wait. I wish you the best of luck!

I’ve already resigned to the fact that I’m not going to get into Cornell. My SAT’s were subpar, my essays sucked, and I have a high school disciplinary issue. Meh.

Common guys lol. 90% of this thread is complaining and telling yourself how you won’t get in. Without passion and a dedicated attitude you really won’t get in, and in fact, not get anywhere in the future. Not something that Cornell would represent. So man up, and wait :)

I am impatient, but I also realize that it isn’t an easy process to just sort out through thousands of applications. Until you get rejected, that 5-15% chance remains.

… yes sir :(

/foreverwaiting

@godricgryffindor would it make you feel better if I posted funny stumbleupons to take your mind off of the apprehension of decisions? (:

Yes, please! xD. I’m actually realistically stressed over the Vanderbilt decisions. I feel like I have a pretty good shot at Vandy, and it’s my first choice as far as non-DC schools go.

Haha I’m on my itouch in French class right now so I can’t post links, but look up the physics ■■■■■.

Btw I don’t have Facebook anymore but if anyone on cc wants to Skype or iChat, I’m totally down! Pm me (:

anymore ILR admits?

@06122010: You applied for hotel school right? me too!
we have the longest wait among all applicants!

Waiting for the final admissions decision is always nerve-racking…But hope remains!!!
