Weaknesses: Could’ve done more community things.
Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Case has a heavy focus on undergrad research!
Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected:

There is another thread for discussion, please keep this thread as concise as possible for future students.

Relax guys. Case randomly wait lists people they think are a good fit, but probably won’t go here. You’re better off to go to another school rather than Case. I’m a current Case student, and I have to say where you study engineering or hard sciences does not matter at all. You guys are probably better off by saving money by going to a state school and using the money for graduate school.

@reformedman I’m you posted a while ago, but I was wondering if your award was all merit or was part of it need based? I have similar stats so I was wondering what I might be able to get from Case

@gopgal
From what I remember CWRU was 29k in merit award with 0 need based. That left 37k out of pocket. That’s way too far for us and I don’t know how people can do that. Truthfully, I’ve learned a lot this past year applying to all these schools and researching. I found that in the end the school is about 20% and the energy of the graduate is the other 80%. You can graduate from just about any stem college and get the same pay as someone with an degree from MIT, no joke. It all depends on the energy.

If you want proof, go to any lower tier college and look at their ‘early salary graduate outcomes’ and it will list accepted salary ranges for each major.
Better yet, here’s a link:
http://www.payscale.com/college-salary-report/best-schools-by-type/bachelors/engineering-schools
Hit the LOAD MORE button on the bottom.

Good luck!

thanks so much! @reformedman
