Official Dartmouth RDers 2014 thread!

Mine too!!!

Everything submitted. phew

Congrats guys! Now you can enjoy New Year’s Eve with the rest of us.

=]

Happy (almost) New Year everybody! Actually, happy already New Year to some of you guys =P.

No matter what happens in the next few months, I’m really glad to have pseudo-met all of you. You all seem like really interesting, optimistic people, and I have know that wherever you end up (hopefully at Dartmouth!), you’ll make an incredibly positive impact! Thanks for being here for me!

No problem grey! You’re a pretty chill muchacho too =]

Well we’re all getting accepted anyways sooo yeah don’t worry yaself.

Haha, I’m such a sentimental kid =P

Congratulations all, and happy new year!

Ditto what greyoranges said. Here’s to hoping that we’ll all meet each other at Dartmouth next year! :)

Hi guys! I decided to apply to Dartmouth like, three days ago! Common App + Supplement are in!

Happy New Year guys! 3 months is WAY TOO LONG TO WAIT FOR A COLLEGE DECISION AGHHH.

Happy New Year guys! Wish you all the best lucks with your application, esp. Dartmouth app. :)

Happy New Year everyone! And all the more reason to celebrate now that all of our apps are in! Hope that we’ll meet each other at dartmouth THIS year :)

HAPPY NEW YEAR’S EVERYONEEEEEEEEEE God, last year was FRIGGING AMAZING, it was like a dream…with nightmares in between XD

I wish that I could live Grade 11 for…a relatively long time (note that I don’t say “forever”; go Dorian Gray! :P)

Hi!
I’m applying Regular Decision as well. :)

Not sure what I want to major in … toss-up between Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics with the foreign language being either Korean or Japanese :< (thankfully the major doesn’t really matter as I’m pre-med)

Haha…my friends made me watch Paranormal Activity at 2:00 AM.

Oh.
My.
God.

Oh come on Grey, that movie was so unscary and lame. -_-

But I’m a pansy!

Aw, Paranormal Activity disappointed me. My friends all made it out to be the most terrifying movie ever, so I was expecting to pee myself or something (didn’t happen). Then again, most scary movies don’t scare me, which is just no fun.

Anyway, I’m kind of late coming to this thread, I spent most of the past couple of months on the Columbia ED thread, but wound up getting deferred. Dartmouth is definitely a frontrunner for me now. I’m looking into majoring in poli sci or psych, not really sure yet. Aaand I’m from Upstate NY.

Hi! Apparently you’re tougher than me…oh well. I have other attributes…maybe…hopefully. I can make Easy Mac?

And better late than never! =]

Being able to make Easy Mac is definitely a win. Easy Mac is awesome.
But don’t worry about it. Scary movies don’t scare me, but if you saw my reaction to a spider… well, let’s just say I’m really not that tough.

I’m just the opposite! I’m fine with spiders and stuff, but scary movies…not so much. I woke up in the middle of the night because I thought I heard footsteps…then my cat came into my room and proceeded to sit on me. Epic ghost-perception fail.

Oh man. I can’t handle spiders, centipedes, or anything like that. Or, oddly enough, mold (don’t ask me to explain that one, I have no idea where that phobia came from). But yeah, when I hear footsteps and stuff in the middle of the night, it freaks me out, even though it’s always my cat or dog. I put a collar with a bell on it on my cat so I’d hear the bell rather than just the footsteps, but the dog is still a problem.
