^ There used to be this one moldy panel above my locker in middle school. Now that was somewhat frightening.

Easy Mac = my life. Now I want Easy Mac. Really badly. And it’s like 11pm. Thanks gray -_-

team doesn’t like meee =P

Pshh yeah I’mma beat you up sonn, Jersey Shore style!!

Ahh sorry I’m watching that right now. So damn addicting. Like EasyMac

And your applying to Cornell too grey? Coooool. Me too. HUMEC<3

Hahahahahahahahaha I feel like I lost/never got any muscle tone after all these years on stage…you already won!

Yeah, Dartski and Cornell are my only Ivies. I…
a) Don’t really like the others that much. I like the rural atmosphere of D and C.
b) I wouldn’t get in anyways =P.

If I eventually go to Cornell, I want to do the HUMEC minor in Global Health =] But then again, Dartmouth has it too. I guess I like Dartmouth more because its size naturally makes it more artsy (just don’t tell the people on the other board that =P)

I like our board here. It’s more friendly oriented now instead of finding out exactly where people are applying. Yay!

Hahah okay good an easy win =]
And yeah I only did Dart + Cornell… and Brown too haha. I love the rural-ness of Dart and Cornell, but I loved Providence.

And yeah I reallly feel like my chances are low for Dart… looking at past people who went from my schooll… I was kinda blown away.

Don’t worry I won’t tell anyone from Cornell board lol. This board is by far the best! Friendly people =]

I completely agree =[

These two are definitely at the top of my spectrum. I hope WashU will take me because they aren’t so harsh on extracurriculars. If all else fails, it’s Penn State for me-I don’t mean that in a negative sense though. My sister goes there, and it’s nice- I just wish it were more artsy =/

It’s hard to say Dartmouth’s my first choice when I know there’s a huge chance of it not happening… but I’m stepping tentatively into this thread.

@ teamfrangela:
- What is one of your New Year’s resolutions?
Exercise more often! I’m not a huge gym person, but I like running outdoors. Stop letting procrastination rule my life. - What are you going to do with your life after apps are in?
Wait in happy anticipation of being a second semester senior. - What’s something you want to do today, but haven’t done?
Study for my statistics final. - On a scale of 1-10, how clean is your room (10 is spotless)
5, clothes are found on the floor where I took them off. :D

Oh yeah, brief bio. I’m quirky, caring, and geeky, but I hate math and hard sciences. For a long time, I thought I’d do pre-med, but I fell in love with psychology recently, so that’s my declared major for now. I live in San Francisco and it is AWESOME. Likes: nature (a huge reason for my initial attraction to D), tea, DOGS, memoirs, folk/rock/pop music, good people.

You seem just right for this thread! Welcome!

Wonder how Engineering department in Dartmouth will be. A DM’s sophomore told me it’s awesome, with a 5-year mastering program. Yet, I’m still confusing…

Thanks, grey!

^ More info on the engineering program at Dartmouth.

Ok, I’m going through the thread, but you guys sure have been busy on CC!

@grey: I applied to Tufts and their essays were so much fun!
@team: Applied to the same three Ivies that you did. Cornell’s gorges (ha…ha) and the course selection is huge, while the open curriculum at Brown sounds pretty cool. But of course, neither win over D. :)

…It’s good to know I might meet some of you in RL some day!

Does the school bring the accepted students in later for a visit? Does anyone know, do they wait until April 1st for notification.?

There’s actually a program called “Dimensions” in which Dartmouth invited its accepted students up for a three day, two night extravaganza with lots of activities. Last year it was the third weekend in April!

That sounds like fun! What sort of activities, do you know?

I think they have some dry parties, performances by music groups, sports games, open classes, sit down lunches with faculty, speeches by the president - I’m not entirely sure. Basically you’re paired up with a '13 and you get to follow them around to all of the activities and stay with them overnight. It sounds like a blast!

Sounds like fun =] lol.

Oh noes! This thread is dying!

Quick, we must revive it with a new topic…um…

OH! When is the last day you have to really care about your grades (when everything for your midyear report is finished)?

I have January 22nd…so close. COME ON MIDTERMS!

January 8th! I’ll be studying for my stats final over the next two days.
