***Official Dec 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

The petroleum question started with:

“The process of drilling petroleum is more complex and expensive than petroleum in (insert name of place here).”

This is not a correct comparison. It’s not talking about the petroleum; it’s talking about how it is obtained.

cook placing is wrong

im like 90% sure “denied of” is incorrect

um, I hope it was how many times it crossed the x-axix

Cook placing is WRONG
Denied of is WRONG

it was crossing x-axis

@bukbukchicken‌ the former -> 4 times
@COYWWWWWW‌ condemn
@ncccc1701‌ i don’t remember that question, i only remember the one with the depletion of the petroleum reserves

I think denied of is correct explain how it wouldn’t be?

@COYWWWWWW‌ pretty sure it’s “condemn” because opposite of complimentary.

For the coin question they said that the small coins were .25 cents each so you had to multiply 5 x .25 to get 1.25. Then you’re left to find the value of the large coin (each coins is of equal worth and the total is $10). So you subtracts 1.25 from $10 to get 8.75 and then you do 8.75 divided by 5 to get 1.75. @APScholar18

you don’t need the OF, its an idiom.

Deprive of is correct according to law majors

What did you guys put for alternative meaning of “reservation” in the last reading section? I was between “hindrance” and “misgiving” but i pit “misgiving”

@COYWWWWWW‌ misgiving is right

I went to the club, but I was denied access.

You aren’t denied of access.

did anyone else have a math question with a table on like daily rates for driving minivans and other cars? There were like 4 questions based off it. Pretty sure it was experimental

The graph should have crossed the x axis 4 times if you moved the graph down

@iceman15‌ that’s all well and good, but the q was with denied, not deprived

What would King George III have said to author of passage 2?

Do you think we’ve discussed all the hard questions already in this chat? So far I have 3 wrong in CR 1 wrong in math and 0 in writing…
