***Official Dec 2014 SAT (US ONLY)***

Anyone remember the alice passage, something with “casually troubling ease?” I put something like she was trying to be comfortable with the disappointments in her life.

What was the essay prompt?

Snap judgments vs decisions givin in a lot if thought

The 55 *

The two tangent lines intersect to form the 4th angle.

55 is one angle

the tangent lines + the radius form the 2/3rd angle

the fourth angle is the intersection and is what we need to find

we know that a tangent line to radius forms a right angle

360 degrees because there are 4 angles

360-55-90-90=125

what were the experimental sections?

Does erasing have a big effect

@froggyfresh THANK YOU

did anyone get a passage about monkeys and chimps?

Experimental 100%

@university5435‌ thanks

reading

for the alice passage

-for the “purpose of the second paragraph” one i think it was explain her attitude.
-another answer was that she wasn’t concerned with things she lost. I’m 100% sure about that.

for the green chemistry passage

-wasnt the gate cradle thing less efficient or something? one of them was about reusing stuff while the other one wasn’t

writing

-ellen ochoa-is there a general consensus?

also, for the koala passage

the fridge question-from the way it was phrased, it wasn’t a claim. it was something logical. the choice with illustrative example had the word claim in it so i thought it was wrong

@alpha525‌
How can she be not concerned but also be troubling?

Green Chem: Definitely not less efficient. That was one I crossed out immediately.

less comprehensive b/c didn’t detail as long of a process (from cradle to actual usage)

The cr section genuinely makes me face palm like what a section built for the perfect white American speaker

Or you just have to do a shit ton of prep to learn useless info

@alpha525 do you mean she was concerned about the things she lost? I’m pretty sure that she “wasn’t” concerned wasn’t an answer choice

Anyone remember the alice passage, something with “casually troubling ease?” I put something like she was trying to be comfortable with the disappointments in her life. ANYBODY?!?!?!?!?

I put something about her being concerned with losing those childhood memories so easily
