just got done w/ the december satI reasoning test....i guess im earlier than most..cuz i live in asia. it was fairly easy..its my first time at taking the SAT...vocab was relatively simple. but the 15 min verbal section was pretty brutal....the passage was freakin long...and the questions...relatively difficult as well...im expecting a 1500+

s-h-i-t.....what about the math section. easy? medium? hard?

math section was easy..but im pretty good at math..so i duno. ive gotten only one wrong so far....a really really stupid mistake...the LAST question on the entire test too...so. yeh. my brain was so fried. i couldnt wait to get out of the testing room.

Don't internationals get a different test than those in the US?

How was the Verbal?

yeah they do. but the difficulty is roughly the same.

I think it was okay

btw, was there a STORY passage on the verbal CR's. cuz i hate those.

anyway, I didn't meet any new words in Sentence Completion and Analogy, that's really cool! but the reading was quite difficult, especially the 15 minute section!
i took it in asia too

any hints?

the 15 min verbal section...read fast...and those questions...arg. i hate it when the questions have references to specific sections of the passage and then the answer choices have answers that make sense in reference to another part of the same passage.. its easy to overlook that little detail...and end up not choosing the relevant answer...

ok that 15 min. verbal section is the biggie. goes to practice CR passages

I dont think intls get a diff SAT from those in the US... my jan and may tests were the same as u guyz in the US ( from the qs being discussed). Even the SAT IIs are the same.

good luck everyone today : |. I take the test in two hours..I'm now hoping for a 1500+ plus : |. I'm slightly nervous, but there's always January 22. I have a bag full of swedish fish to help me make it through the test.

maybe it was the AP tests that were different. i probably have the two mixed up.

and doesnotexist, do the privates take Jan. scores or does it depend on the school? cuz northwestern, johns hopkins and everything say that their deadline for undergrad apps in Jan. 1

i got 800math on oct SAT I, this math was easier than octobers test, but I got one stupid error (just like usual).
Veeery easy math, indeed.

it probably depends on the school...being only a Junior, I don't know much about the admissions process, but I'd doubt they'd take the January SATs. Are you taking the SATs today?

yeah and i cant sleep!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ahhh so nervous. im gonna get a seizure at 17!!!!

I hope it's not another washington woodward passage. You get to the last section feeling great and then a killer 13 question passage. ahhh!

i found the verbal section easy and the math section tricky but easy.. the 15 mins passage was easy but the questions were difficult as the answers are very close... when can we start discussing the papers?
