Anyone know what the first question was? XD

Did the essay accomplish the goal of saying how much of an influence the coach had on her, or was it no because it was mostly about bigraphical info. I was torn, but put that it did accomplish the goal in the end, although in the vast majority of cases the answer to those questions is always “no.”

It was no, the passage wasn’t focus on the impact for each other, passage was focus on her.

Was the first question awaken or awakened

I think I said it was biographical info

i put awakened then changed to awaken when i was bubbling in answers. please be right

Awaken is the infinitive and awakened is the past or past participle.
A past participle follows after was.
It’s definitely awakened. End of story.

I was awakened by unfamiliar faces…

Eek i put awakened.

Anybody on the basketball skills one? And where was the “became/become” problem? I don’t remember it

was th answer to number 42 how the parenthetical applied to the passage like gives a sense of time and underscores or whatever?

underscores her ability and emphasizes her youth yes i got that too.

there was one with the woodpeckers where it was like: Unlike rock climbers, _____________

I put “this creature moves fast”

but there was another choice i was considering anyone remember what im talking about?

I put awoken XD

also, was awakened answer choice D?

To be honest, now that I think about it, the biographical info just doesnt cut it. The passage mentioned her coach upwards of 3 or 4 times.

If the answer was the coach’s influence, the passage would have talked more about how the coach developed her into an olympic athlete. It mainly focused on the accomplishments of the runner.

Anyone with the “creature moving fast” problem. What was the answer?

Was that the one about saw dust and stuff?

there was a whole beginning though about polio and another about her high school which took up 2 paragraphs. that’s 2 paragraphs NOT talking about her coach

as did I… does anyone remember the sentence context? seems like that fits better than awakened
