Seeing as nobody made these yet, here you guys go. Discuss all October English questions here.

i only had one unsure question…was it sticking to or clasping???

are you sure we can discuss this now?

^ Even if you can discuss, this thread is not meant for the International ACT, only the ACT form taken in the US and it’s territories.

i thought it was alright. so many commas haha

i hate commas

Does anybody know the answer to the first question?

was that thing bout being akwaken or something

Yeah. That one.

was it awaken or awakened? i was so frustrated by that one.

Oh yeah. I looked back at that one too. I think I left it as awaken. I’m still not sure, though.

it was awakened, i believe. It was the hardest question of the test imo lol didn’t make me feel so well to start

What about the one about the her basketball skills?

“They were her basketball skills that impressed the coach”

vs

“It was her basketball skills that impressed the coach”

Answer: it was. they were doesn’t make much sense

i put “it” for the bball one… and i think the other choice wasn’t strictly “they” it had something else that completely eliminated it.

about the basketball one…

the answer choices were: though, additionally…? anyone know what im tlking about?

Was one of the answers “not unintentionally?”

yeah markzilly i got one of those when it was making it clear that he was trying to compose different music

Awakened bothered me until the end of the test.
I ended up putting awakened because that was what my instinct was, but I’m now pretty sure it’s awaken…

^ I remember putting “as it turned out”
