Hey I’m applying for Kinesology too. I talked to
The admissions person…all decisions except for music has been released. So I’m guessing ee
Just have to wait it out. BTW what r ur stats that
Got u defferred if u don’t mind me asking?

@Ottawa

Did you get in? I have similar stats

I have not received a decision yet, though even a “we’re still reviewing you application” would have been nice.

4.7 weighted gpa/3.8 uw
Out of state
NHS/Cum Laude
27 ACT
4 year cross country runner

Several awards for music

4.7 weighted? How many APs did you take? Lol
Although I think that’s really good XCsinger I just haven’t heard from or seen anyone else Kinesiology on here so we gotta stick together! Best of luck as well!

2 aps but the rest of my courses r honors…my school is rated as one of the top public schools in my state and the country so we get more credit for the weighted part. One of the few high schools that have Cum Laude or honors society.

yeah agreed!! Let me known if u hear anything!! so anxious!!

Literally you are the first person I’ve heard from who applied to Kinesiology, I was starting to think that it was all a hoax and it didn’t exist… So what major?

hey guys sorry if im soundin ignorant but what exactly is kinesiology??

It’s mostly sports and movement. Unfortunately it has a reputation as the school where all the sub-par student-athletes who get recruited end up therefore taking away spots from applicants such as XCsinger and myself.

Physical therapist…kines is movement science but i’m still undecided.

Really I shouldn’t worry because I’m into Illinois which has a better program for me anyway but I hate to lose more than I love to win by a long shot.

We still got a chance hopefully. My brother got in with a 25 act…last year

My gf got in with a 26 last year as well and I know a kid who got in with a (wait for it)… 22

22 act??? he/she got into Michigan or Michigan St.?

Did any deferrals get rejected?

He got a 22 ACT but it probably helped that he was a first team all state baseball player

yo ottawa what happens if u do this - Marry ur gf n tell the adcoms u have legacy. resume ur previous relationship once u get in
