OFFICIAL Deferred Class of 2017

yay granipc! I’m living at Dobie, which is an off-campus private dorm. I’ve heard pretty good things about that place and my brother lived there for 2 years.

Yes faiintx, both my kids have stayed in Dobie for summer sports camps… good location, you are going to have a blast! Are you planning to rush?

Does anyone know when’s the last possible date for u of m to give us a response??

granipc- yeah, the building looks really cool from the outside too! haha. and as of now, i’m not planning on rushing, but i might consider it. i don’t think UT is that big on greek life, esp. compared to UMich.

live2love - it’s probably at the end of the 2nd week of april. i don’t think it will be that late though.

Emma, just so you know, they make it sound that way because technically, it is true. But the difference between the number of in-state and OOS is what had me concerned that in spirit, it may not be precisely how the registrar sees it. Good luck!

@Faiintx hopefully the wait is worth it. Good luck to everyone who is still waiting for a response.

So I contacted U-M about my residency, and they said my application will take 8 weeks to process. WHATTTTT. D: You’ve got to be kidding me…

yeah it really sucks being in the situation

what? isnt the enrollment date May1?

EmmaCaroline: it usually says it will take eight weeks but I think that it takes much shorter because parchment says the same thing about their transcripts

I said residency application… not admissions…

Sportsmom, thanks for the Campus Day tip. We are OOS and are still awaiting a decision. The only opportunity we will be able to visit AA is next week during our Spring Break. Do you think we can attend Campus Day even if we have not yet been accepted?

so where else was everyone here accepted?

Cornell and University of Miami with a scholarship. Too bad I still am dying to find out from Michigan…

Eastern Michigan University (just a financial safety) and Michigan State University, which is probably where I’ll wind up going if I can’t make it to UMich.

Penn State, Florida State and U Miami w scholarship.

ucsd decisions are up now. or maybe before, I just checked now lol

i’m still waiting to hear back from: UCLA, UC Berkeley, Carnegie Mellon, and Stanford. At least all of those have set decision release dates unlike Michigan lol.

ucla this friday; pretty excited since it’s one of my top schools.
