in a way though, it will make a non-acceptance decision a lot!!!!!!!! easier to handle, knowing the amazing people who were deferred and rejected

Poor Ritz, it looks as if he capitulated and clicked on the link.

Ritz is a girl! :p But it does look that way...

yes.. I now return from the dark side body twitch

I started at the bottom and worked by way up. I stopped when I came to this: 82 decisions; 17 accepted (21%), 50 deferred (61%), 15 rejected (18%). Although the 17 looks daunting, 21 percent isn't * that * bad. whips out calc 21 % of 63 = 13 people. I lied. That's bad.

13 is my lucky number!! maybe its an omen!!
NOBODY ELSE IS ALLOWED TO BE ON THAT ROSTER!!!
lol

Wow. I read that entire post from last year, and it def. made me glad I'm not doing Yale EA (I applied to Georgetown). Still, with all those qualified people deferred, I'm a little worried about RD.

every day drags by slower than the previous one. it feels like today had 34 hours already...

Iplayoboe... I totally agree. I'm really feeling exhausted by this whole process and I just want to know already, one way or the other. It's so hard to wait for something that you want soooo badly.

As for the countdown, not including the rest of tonight...

12 days!!!! It's getting so close...

i remember when we all sent them in, it was 46 days!!! its hard to imagine a whole month has gone by since then.

10 days.........

hopefully only ten days, but OFFICIALLY 11

too bad i find out about sats on the 15th as well. :(

When exactly do you find out online, Yale EAer's? Did they just say "sometime on the 15th"? That would be torture, checking the comp/refeshing the screen over and over again...

We're officially expecting it at 5:00 PM on the 16th...but there have been rumors that range from the 13th to the 15th, so yeah, we will be checking the comp/refreshing the screen over and over again...

i'm not applying to yale, but at columbia, we find out on the 10th =P
it's a win-win situation. if we get accepted... we find out 5 days earlier. if we don't, we have 5 extra days to start/do our regular decision apps. gotta love life :)

Yeah, Beth...that won't be fun. Princeton notifies by snail mail, but at least that can only come once per day. We're thinking they'll send out the letters on the 10th, so they should arrive where I live on/around the 14th...

Good luck to you and the rest of the Yale CC EAer's!

Good luck to you too Kebree :)

There seems to be a rumor on our thread that we'll get receving snail mail letters before our online notification, but I'm doubtful...

I, too, am quite doubtful indeed.

Don't suggest such things!!!!!!

Now we will all be nervously watching the mail for the next two weeks.

10 days (9 for the 15th) left by my count (which does not include today).

Watching the mail? I have better things to do with my time than stare at a mailbox or listen for a mailtruck...I seriously doubt any letters will arrive before the 15th...or even on the 15th.
