Official EA Decisions.

still no response. screw that waste of $50

racer … you’re putting WAY too much faith in the US Postal Service! Give Fordham a call and ask them to clarify. Seems clear that if your letter went out on 12/15 your way over-due and likely lost in the mail.

Racerboi, my son is experiencing the same thing. Everyone we know in our area has received their admission decision, but nothing in the mail for him. I called 1-800-FORDHAM today. They said the decision was mailed out, but they also told me over the phone that he was accepted. I have no idea why my son hasn’t received anything–maybe it got lost? Call them tomorrow and ask. You might get your decision over the phone as I did. Good luck!

The USPS is a notorious mess. I am sorry anyone has to wait on their answer so close to Christmas. I concur with the above responses. CALL.

haha thanks dadoffour and Ktech, I didn’t really have much interest in the school but I applied to just add it to my list in case something went wrong. But I heard from another early action school and plan to attend there. But I will call just in case tomorrow. Once again thanks!

edit: thanks nocousin for the support too

Congrats on your other admission. Hang on for Fordham. Its worth waiting for! Trust me!

Accepted yesterday!!!

3.4 and 1840!

Congrats congrats congrats.

yayy i got in
my SAT scores are actually disgusting…I don’t know how I got in but I am happy =)

hmmm, it seems to me that most ppl that have been accepted so far basically have atleast a 3.6 and 1800+. My friend got in with the same GPA as me and an 1860 and i got deferred with a 1760 so im guessing i missed out by a small margin.

yeah i got in with a 3.2 gpa but a 1900 SAT so your SAT is probably what kept you from being accepted.

It depends on the makeup of the scores as well. Fordham is a school where you write a lot of papers, so reading and writing scores are important. But for those deferred, as this juncture your first semester grades of senior year are VERY important. Depending on the pool of RD applicants you may well get in, so don’t panic. Get going on “plan B” just in case: your safety and match schools. But come April, you may find a positive response from Fordham among other schools.

Merry Christmas to everyone.
