<p>Ha…I am a Chinese ED applicant, so the Decision Day is actually DEC 16th in China time…</p>

<p>So anyways I was looking through a thread from one or two years ago. It was the same thread as this and apparently the applicants got their decision a few days ahead of time. They checked the (Esther site)…some kids saw:</p>
<p>Application status: deny.</p>
<p>…ouch haha.</p>

<p>Gosh. I was reading through the thread from last year too…I do not know any of these people and yet while going through the posts, I was ridiculously nervous for them!
At the same time…I was extremely happy for those who got accepted. Man, what I would do to be able to experience that!..</p>

<p>perhaps next year new CCers who will apply to Rice will glance at this thread and smile at the ones accepted and frown or perhaps laugh at the ones rejected. I beg for the former.</p>

<p>@goingforareach: yeah, some of us were discussing this recently. I am almost 100% positive that it does not mean anything because I am pretty sure that I had that link on my Esther page from the time I first received my ID and password. And anyways, many CCers encouraged us to not waste time looking for “admission clues”…agreed.</p>
<p>PS: for those counting…about 2 weeks left until D-Day!</p>
