<p>NYU admissions office is closed on the weekend, am I correct? So there’s no use expecting anything till monday…?</p>

Unless of course they sent our letters these past few days, and then the mail has them.
As for new batches? I doubt any will be sent this weekend.</p>
<p>This is such a charlie foxtrot. Is ours the most lag of all the ED’ed college decisions?</p>
<p>I was pretty ****ed off today when it didn’t come in the mail.</p>
<p>But when you think about it…the date given was the 15th. So we don’t really have much of a reason to complain. If we complain about anything, it should be about the absence of an online decision notification system. It just seems so practical…why can Cornell have it and not NYU…?</p>

<p>Online notifications save so many resources - money, paper, time…just to name a few. I don’t know why NYU hasn’t taken that on board yet.</p>
<p>I guess all we can do is wait. International students are meant to get e-mail notifications, but I doubt anything will happen till Monday, since offices are closed. </p>
<p>I’m stalking last year’s (class of 2013) ED thread to see who got their acceptance when. I should really stop. But I can’t. I’m nervous, but good nervous. Like excited nervous. It’s a hard-to-explain feeling, haha.</p>
<p>Yeah and some are scared sh_tless nervous.</p>
<p>If NYU wasn’t so inconsistent and obnoxiously random with mailing letters, there wouldn’t be a problem. </p>
<p>Holding a thick acceptance package is far more rewarding/greater feeling than seeing “Status: Accepted” on a dinky website. </p>
<p>(And the thought of 30,000 people excessively refreshing on an April night kind of screams lag and internal errors and explosions.)</p>

<p>From last year’s thread, it seems like international students can call the admissions office and ask for their decision…strange.</p>
