Just read stories about people stalking their mailmen, losing sleep, etc. Don’t feel too out of place / crazy anymore! Haha. </p>

<p>I e-mailed them to ask how I would get my admissions notification, and they replied saying “International students will get notified via e-mail by Mid December”. Now, Mid December, to be precise, is the 15th. So I’m holding my horses till then. </p>
<p>There’s no use emailing them now, though. Offices are closed for the weekend, and they are probably getting a crap-load of emails anyway, I doubt they’d respond to each. </p>

It seems inconsistent, but I’m still hopeful I suppose.

<p>No, most people got their letters around the 14th / 15th. Majority of accepted applicants (at least, that’s what it seems like) were still in the dark till the 13th. I don’t think anyone should lose hope just yet.</p>
<p>mukula: Yep. Actually I emailed them yesterday…right before they should open up shop but got nothing. How long did it take for you to get a response?</p>

<p>I e-mailed them (Drama Dept. at Tisch) on a Saturday, or a Friday (I distinctly remember it was over the weekend) and got a response by Tuesday. Since we’re most likely going to get a formal response by Tuesday the 15th anyway, I don’t see the point in pestering them with e-mails.</p>

But how about this - you call them on Monday, and post here if you get a response (or even if you don’t), so then I’ll call on Monday as well? Just remember to keep your NYU ID handy. They’ll ask for it to refer to your application.</p>

<p>Yes…my assumption is that up to now, all acceptances were LSPs…besides for some strange cases where people got into the schools of their choice, like you said.</p>
