My decision has been posted. I would assume others have been as well.

Decision: Waitlisted

EDIT: OK. Just checked in with admissions about it and something is not working right. They said they would get back to me. I hope I didn't make anyone go crazy. :(

It is true, my decision has been posted as well...

mine is up... accepted!

I GOT IN!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've been through alot this year and I dont think its possible for me to explain how much this means to me...............YES!!!!

Waitlisted. :(

I got in. The VCCS guaranteed admission agreement really works!!!! I was waitlisted last year so I came back for a third year of community college to meet the requirements and it has paid off. I have a 3.4 gpa and did horrible on the SAT-980 so I know this is the only reason I got in.

I'm in! I found 2 places that are four bedrooms. Any girls living off grounds interested?

Why would you want to live off-grounds? Living on grounds allows for more student interaction, IMO thats a pretty important thing for transfers....

I have a number of reasons. I already have a lot of friends at UVa, and have found that living near people isn't the only way to make friends. Also, I've lived in an apartment this year and really don't want to go back to sharing a room. Plus, I really, REALLY don't want to live in Gooch/Dillard, and unless I could work hard to get a place in Lambeth/Bice, I'd be up a creek.

why not a fan of gooch/dillard?

accepted! OOS!

I got in! Wow, this has been one hell of a wait. Someone should post a stats thread.

Congratulations future Wahoos! I am a transfer student who transferred to UVa last year and I am absolutely in love with this place. I cannot believe that classes are over tomorrow and I have to go back home. Anyhoo, I decided to live off grounds this year and it has worked out wonderful. However most of my friends lived on grounds so either way you cannot lose. My advice is to live on-grounds only if you get Bice or Lambeth, otherwise it is such a hassle to get to class and you may not get to experience the UVa atmosphere. Plus, other on-Grounds dorms are pretty far from the Corner...

Two of my friends actually have a contract that they need to part with since they have decided to live off-Grounds for their 3rd year. It is a double in Bice and the two contracts are in the same room so if anyone knows a future transfer and wants to live with them, maybe we can set something up. Or you can PM if you want just one of the contracts. To all other transfers, feel free to PM me with any questions you have about this process.

Once again, congratulations and I hope to see y'all on grounds in the Fall!

Hi all!

We posted decisions a little early, as you all know. The letters will be mailed tomorrow.

Three very important notes:

You have until May 15th to reply. I'll have someone correct the text on the site, but I'm on the road, so it might take a few hours.

If you were a "spring rollover", meaning you applied to start in the Spring, weren't admitted, and we rolled your application over to the fall, the decision you see when you log in is the one from the Spring. We have to make new accounts for the rollover applicants. We'll be emailing each student in that very small group to let them know, but I thought I'd put the info out there now.

We aim to go to the waitlist by June 1st. If you are on the transfer waitlist and want to be considered, you must send your spring grades.
Okay, that's it. Have a good day, everyone.
