@eastafrobeauty: I think the most important things to keep in mind when writing the transfer essays are (1) be specific; (2) have good reasons for wanting to transfer to Penn, and give a lot of details about why you need to transfer there; (3) be specific about why you are majoring in your area of study, why you want to work with the faculty in that area at Penn, and what your interests are in that major. In my essay, I was incredibly specific, and communicated that I have good reasons for wanting to be at Penn, which faculty members I wanted to work with, and why being at Penn would be the best possible way for me to expand the research I’ve been doing at my current institution.

Does Penn (Wharton) send accepted/admitted student packages to transfers? or are they just for enrolled students? I am at home and my mailing address is different from my home address.

when will know about our transfer credits? I emailed my summer adviser and she said that she will write to me in-detail about everything. But shouldn’t we know about transfer credits prior to accepting the offer?

Hey guys, I’m looking for a roommate for this upcoming year. I’m an incoming sophomore (transferring from the Claremont Colleges). If you want to chat and see if we’re a good fit, go ahead and Facebook me (Redirecting...).
See you soon! :)
