I’m with you Chris… can’t wait!!!

not sure what i think about this. not saying i agree, but i think it’s worth a read.
since there’s not much changing in the transfer process (besides that all but my college report have been received and filed), i’ll post this article on Kony

http://tumblr.thedailywh.at/post/18909727859/on-kony-2012-i-honestly-wanted-to-stay-as-far

Okay seriously,
the best song is to listen to is this

“The Ballad of Barry Allen” by Jim’s Big Ego.
If you type it into youtube the video name is “seems so slow.”

I’ve seen that too, Chris. I think the organization is not as good as it seems after first watching the video but I definitely support them raising money and awareness about the issue.

@Matisyahu, are you jewish? if yes, did you make a big part of your essays relating to your religion?

Does anyone here already have all the documents checked as received on the status application online?

I have everything but my midterm report. Sent that last, hoping they get it by the end of the week. Do you?

Hey, guys, I’m new here. I’m applying to ILR as a sophomore coming from a SUNY school.

High school GPA: Honestly don’t even know, nothing great, maybe a 90.
First semester: 4.0
Mid-term report: 3.7
Essays and Reccomendations are great, EC’s in HS were phenomenal, no crazy EC’s in college.
@cornellarch, i still have 3 x’s

does anyone here know if you can get a GT if youre applying as a sophomore? as in, guarenteed to transfer spring semester?

I’m only missing the College Transcripts that was requested by me on February 24th, but my university only sent on March 2nd… I hope they can get asap, I’m starting to get worried

Don’t worry cornellarch, they probably have them it just takes time to process the forms.

Don’t worry, I spoke to admissions several times about this kind of stuff; you have nothing to worry about, it just takes them a while to process everything, it’s okay that your university sent it out after the deadline.

cool!! thanks guys for the responses… by the way, I was reading the forum from last year and I remember people saying that after you complete everything, a message appears saying that your application went to review, is that correct?

^ Would love to know if that’s true!

I talked to admissions and they said you can be considered for another school - depending on your essay.

This thread is going to be full of worry for the next month and a half.
Everyone go to youtube and listen to “Ride a white swan” by T-Rex. Trust me, it will make you happy/happier. XD

can anyone try to chance me? any words at all will be appreciated :)

PROS
4.0 (13 credit) first semester/3.7 midterm report
good essays/letters of rec
honors college

CONS
only 13 credits first semester, mostly intro courses
suspended senior year of high school

Since you’re only a freshman, I think your high school GPA will matter, so what is it? And SAT scores.

also what kind of school do you go to now and what school in cornell are you applying to?

I have a question: When are transfer applicants notified of their decisions?

Starts 4 weeks after the deadline, keep giving out decisions for 6 more weeks after that. Depends on when you get all your forms in and how good/bad your app is.

@something 12345 and Matisyahu,

I attend a SUNY school right now. I don’t know what my high school GPA was, I’d say somewhere in the low 90’s. Now terrible, but not phenomenal either. I’m applying to ILR and not sending my SAT scores. Sent them my AP scores, I took 6 and got two 3’s, two 4’s, and two 5’s.
