was the “decision” button on the “student” tab or where was it?

@transferfall2014 yeah, I was wondering the same thing. Where was the decision button located? I don’t think it was ever on my portal.

I’m going to go out on a limb here and say that the decision button has disappeared for those who will get accepted.

Maybe it’s just the people they have reviewed so far.

For those who had their decision button disappeared, they are getting in. This occurred to last year prospective transfer students as well.

@Achillean98 could you offer more details please…? Am I correct to understand that people whose buttons do not disappear will not be getting in?

i don’t think that’s necessarily true… i just checked the 2012 transfer thread and someone called norcaltransfer77’s button disappeared as well but he/she was ultimately rejected

hey new user here! i was just wondering is everyone listed as applicant and student in the self service system? i just noticed today so i don’t remember if it was always like that or if it changed or sth

Mine is still there… hope is not a bad sign. Preparing for the worst now…

I find it hard to believe that the decision button being there or not has anything to do with your final decision. The folks at Brown want to release all decisions at once, and they know we are looking for clues.

@gambon111 my point exactly. I think it’s just some system error.

@gambon111 @Austin941029 I Hope you guys are right, I guess im used to the whole Cornell system doing small things like that- indicating we were going to be accepted

I am actually confused by the whole thing entirely because aren’t decisions mailed? I believe seniors find out online so maybe it is a glitch and they just have’t removed that from our page.

“Transfer decisions will be available online before May 15th. You will be notified via email when your decision is available.”

Good luck everybody! I suggest trying not to stay on here too much. It’ll drive you crazy. We are all qualified enough, it just comes down to a number of factors we have no control over. Luck being a very big one of them.

@000AAAaaa Hey, do you mind elaborating on what you meant by Cornell’s system of small indications of acceptances? I didn’t apply to Cornell so I’m not familiar with their admissions process and what their application experience is like.

@gambon111 haha wow I never saw that…thanks!

@Catullus its pretty weird but some students were able to login to housing before finding out, or received FA/ credit evaluation. There were also a few people that received phone calls/ emails asking for further information.

Does anybody else have a “Spring 2015” button under the Processed Applications menu?

@abear19 Someone should correct me if I’m wrong, but I think “Spring 2015” indicates you were accepted and given admittance to start for the Spring 2015 semester.

@abear19, you have that tag? According to the previous experience it looks like you are in. Congrats!!!
I wish I have that tab
