The point that I was trying to make was that the probability of only one person being admitted to CALS from every applicant on this forum is low, therefore people receiving the standard “our records do not show you as an admitted student to CALS” should not yet lose hope. Especially if you remember the message that everyone got was that they are admitted, it only changed to “not admitted” after someone called them and asked wether the site is representative of the admission decisions.
In short, you will receive your decision when its made, don’t lose hope over information that is not proven to be true by any official source. Yes, it is fun to speculate, and it is great way to burn some time, and its a great community builder, but it should not to be mistaken for cold hard facts.

BTW. what we can do is when we get our decision, don’t just post you decision, but post data on your housing, and transfer credit evaluation. (Not personal stuff, just whether you were able to log in and when)

@wellletshope - do you think that the fact that I do see this:

http://■■■■■■■.com/usermedia.php?uo=fNkd6hpTbcNtuATvfTFNVoh4l5k2TGxc#.U0sT0fldVqV

is any indication to whether I got in or not?

It definitely says that, so yes I would not worry as much, however wait until you receive your official decision e-mail before you pop the champagne. (But I would definitely put it in the chiller)

@wellletshope yea I’m def not sure of anything yet. Just sitting here- terrified.

so what does it mean if you click on the “Log in here if you are a new undergraduate student using your Cornell Applicant ID” link and it takes you to a page where it says “Either your session has timed out or you are not currently logged in.”?

@shiloh456 - I don’t think it means anything. Mine says he same thing!

you are not alone. Go for a run, but not jogging, sprint like the something chasing you, and the only thing that’s going to be on your mind is to get to the next corner (or mile if you are on a treadmill) without collapsing. Or go out and party 'till you can’t remember why you were terrified. Thats how I keep my sanity. :D

@wellletshope I think you just convinced me to go on a run today haha, days do go by faster when your constantly moving.

You are only stressing yourself out by logging onto the housing portal and transfer eval. Even if you can log in, the question, “Does this mean I got in?” will continue to drive you crazy until you receive your decision. Just chill out, we only have a few more days

The anticipation makes it so difficult to focus on the work I need to do this semester’s classes!

@reneesydaisy
Although nobody here is 100% sure about the transfer credit page yet… I believe that you have a high chance to be accepted and you’ll receive yr decision very soon! :-*

@challenging - thanks! I’ll let you all know hen I find out! What school are you applying to?

@william95 Same - my work is really suffering because of this =

same goes here. I am new to this site. I am waiting for the result, too.

same

@reneesydaisy
great! and post yr stat. at the same time when you’re accepted :>
i’m applying to CALS AEM!

@challenging haha “when” I am accepted…well I sure hope I am accepted. And yes I will def post!

haha we should bet on how many people will be accepted tomorrow, I say 3

From how many have been accepted so far compared to last year I think results will come out later than previous years. Also I think that it will be mostly acceptances this early

^Yeah usually acceptances roll out first. If I had to venture a guess… 5. ;]
